***Hiiiii xD new chapter!

That's Lyra's dress on the side. Because I didn't describe the other's dresses, you are free to imagine what you want them to look like.

Enjoy

"Girls, the boys are here!" somebody called from upstairs.

We all looked at each other, except for Jasmine, she was looking at Joshua. She didn't want to let him go.

"Are you ready?" Mel asked us. We all shook our heads and she rolled her eyes.

"I look fat!" Annie complained. We turned to look at her. Was she crazy?! Annie looked gorgeous. She was wearing a tight dress that showed off her baby bump nicely. It also showed off her beautiful body.

"You're pregnant, Annie," Jasmine said, laughing. Annie playfully stuck her tongue out at Jasmine.

"Alright," I said, taking a deep breath. "Let's go."

We walked down the stairs. I almost fainted at the sight I saw. Sam. He was wearing black jeans and a black shirt. Oh my holy shit. Breathe, Lyra. Breathe.

"You look beautiful," he told me once we were standing together. I felt a blush rising to my cheeks.

"Thanks," I murmured. "You don't look so bad yourself."

We were ready to go, but Julie wasn't ready to let us go. She insisted on taking one hundred and sixty-nine photos of all of us.

When we finally left, it was past six and we were already late. Oh well. You cant crash a party without being fashionably late.

When we finally got to the school, I could feel butterflies erupt in my stomach. I just knew that tonight was going to be a bad night. We'd be escorted out by security, teased by the populars and beaten up by the jocks.

I just knew it.

I didn't want to say anything though because I didn't want to ruin their night. They were all pretty excited. And who knew? Those things might not actually happen. Right?

As we approached the school, we could hear loud disco music playing. Ewwww.

"Have you got the iPod?" Jasmine asked Pierce. Pierce nodded, grinning evilly.

Even if we did get kicked out, at least we could tell our children that we crashed our schools Prom.

It wasn't even their school. They weren't even in school. Oh well.

I think that Sam sensed my nervousness because as we approached the entrance, he grabbed my hand and refused to let go. This only caused me to get more nervous. My hands were already all clammy and he was not helping at all.

But, I wasn't going to complain because Sam was holding my hand.

Mel glanced down at our intertwined hands and raised an eyebrow.

I gave her a shut-up-and-keep-walking look. She obeyed. Thank God.

We walked in and found ourselves a table to sit at.

The prom was just as cheesy as it looked in movies. The theme was Starry Night or some shit like that, so the lights were dimmed and their were disco lights and a bunch of stars stuck around the place. Nothing original.

This committee really weren't dedicated to making Prom something that everyone would want to remember. It was really plain. And boring. If we didn't plan on turning it into a punk prom, I wouldn't have wanted to remember this prom. That's how bad it was.
