Prompt 58: "I've waited for this moment for a long time"
and
Prompt 99: "I fell in love with you, not them"

"I've waited for this moment for a long time," they said as Tamaki closed the door behind him.
"What do you mean?" he asked, making eye contact before dragging his gaze around the room. Nothing special caught his eye except for them sitting in their desk chair.
"A moment where it's just you and I," they said, closing the book they were reading and putting it on their desk. "It hasn't happened in awhile," they mumbled. Tamaki smiled weakly, face heating up at the speed of light.
"Sorry, it's just practice has been taking up a lot of my time and Mirio said that he was gonna teach me a way to punch better and Nejire-"
"Please don't talk to me about them," they said abruptly. "Just, I just want to spend time with you and only you right now."
"I was just explaining why-
"I know, it's just," they started before the words got trapped behind their teeth. "It's nothing," they looked away.
"What's wrong?" Tamaki asked, letting go of the door knob and walking forward a couple steps. They lifted their eyes back to him.
"Do you like spending time with them more than me? Sorry, this is probably stupid and I just..." they trailed off, grabbing their arms self consciously. Tamaki stared, frozen to the spot. An awkward air of silence sat between them and they took this as his answer. Their eyes fluttered closed as the information sunk in, dull ache felt in the pit of their stomach. "Oh," they murmured. "I mean I don't know what I was expecting, but I guess I had some hope that maybe that wasn't the truth," they said. Tamaki continued to stare. "Tamaki?" they mumbled, confused.
"No," he said, finally finding words to speak. "That's not right. That's not true," he said, tripping over his feet as he walked forward. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I made you feel that way, that's not the truth," he said. Surprised eyes stared at the wall behind him as he engulfed them in a hug.
"R-really?" they asked, their voice a little louder than a whisper.
"I-" he started, embarrassment and insecurity pushing his words back with a delay. "I fell in love with you, not them," he said. At that, they wrapped their own arms around his middle and pulled him closer. Tamaki ended up straddling them in the chair, pulling back and staring into their eyes. "I'm sorry," he repeated before peppering their face with kisses. They began to laugh, the kisses fast and sloppy all over their face.
"Okay! Okay, apology accepted," they said, the widest smile on their face before sealing the deal with a kiss on the lips. "God, I missed you."
"I missed you too," he said, pressing his forehead against theirs.
