Evie and Mal walked out of their dorm room when they noticed something: people were putting lights and other decorations around the school, their homes, and all over the kingdom. They soon met up with the boys were equally confused about everything.

"What the heck is even going on?" Carlos asked.

"Probably another silly Christmas tradition," Mal said.

"That would be correct," Ben said as he was joined by Lonnie, Jane, Doug, Chad, and Audrey. "People use everything from lights, to wreaths, and ornaments to decorate their homes.

The VKs continued to look at the AKs with confused looks. "Just follow us," Lonnie said as they all walked to Beast's castle where servants were running all over the place trying to decorate the giant place.

"Is this like Halloween where people decorate their places with "scary" stuff?" Jay asked. "You know, how everyone puts stickers of ghosts and bats on the windows and hang fake spiders from the ceilings."

"Basically," Chad said.

"Except with Christmas," Audrey added. "Everyone tends to be way more festive. You should see my castle."

"Just her room alone will give you a headache," Jane said.

"I normally be annoyed by that comment, but because we're trying to teach them about Christmas, I'm going to let it slide," Audrey replied.

As they continued to walk through the halls of the castle, Evie was amazed by all the decoration. "I love the use of complementary colors," she said.

"Huh?" Chad said.

"She's talking about all the red and green," Doug said. "It's probably the designer in her taking over her mind."

The group walked outside of the castle where some servants were hanging the lights. "How many lights do you guys put up?" Carlos asked.

"A lot," Ben replied looking away a little.

"Sometimes us royals take things just a little over the top," Chad said.

"What do you mean we go over the top," Audrey said. "I feel us royals don't put enough effort into decorating."

Lonnie leaned in closer to the VKs. "She's just mad that her parents put a limit for the amount of decorations in the castle she lives in." The VKs nodded as they knew what was going on.

They all walked back inside the castle to a living room. "Tree's up," Beast said.

"Thanks dad," Ben said. "Now let's get started."

"Get started with what?" Jay asked.

"Decorating the tree," Ben replied.

"You can use anything from ornaments to candy canes to tinsel," Jane said.

"Why would anybody do such a silly thing like that?" Mal asked.

"Because it's Christmas!" Audrey retorted.

"Anyway," Lonnie continued. "We decorate the tree every year. Under the tree is where the presents go before opening them on Christmas morning."

The VKs finally understood the concept and joined in on decorating the tree. They then realized that each of the AKs had an ornament with a design that represents them. "Don't worry," Doug said handing them ornaments. "We didn't forget about you guys."

Mal's ornament was purple dragons coming together to form a heart. Carlos' ornament was a black and white cross bones. Jay's ornament was a gold snake. Evie's ornament was a red heart with a crown on it. "Wow Doug. These are amazing," Evie said as the VKs placed them on the tree.

Ben then walked over to Mal and handed her a star. "Do you wanna put the star on the tree?" he asked.

"Sure," Mal replied. However, she was unable to reach the top. "I'm too short." Suddenly, to Mal's surprise, Ben lifted her onto his shoulder. "I don't know how to feel about this."

"Well, now you can reach the top."

Mal gave her boyfriend a smirk before she placed the star on the top. Once that was done, Ben set her down.

"I think we did a great job putting this tree together," Lonnie said.

"Me too," Jay replied.
