Chapter eight
Toby(rare ;D)
Aaron clutched my hand tightly as he stared at the many balloons all around us, not yet lifted into the air. His mouth was open in awe and his eyes were wide in an adorably childish way. The crowd of people moved in front of us and Aaron stood on his toes with a frustrated glare. "I can't see! Move!" The man in front of him didn't move.
"Aaron, get on my shoulders." I crouched and Aaron giggled as he carefully slid a leg over my shoulders. I stood up carefully and grabbed his thighs to keep him balanced.
"Can I use your phone to take pictures?" Aaron asked. God he was so fucking adorable. I let go of one of legs and reached into my pocket before holding it up to him. Aaron snapped a few pictures and continued to beam at the balloons that were starting to fill up. I fixed my eyes on a bright yellow balloon and smiled to myself. Aaron would be trilled.
As the sky darkened the bright balloons lifted up slowly. I looked up to find Aaron transfixed on the balloons. I carefully took my phone from his loose grip and smiled when he payed me no attention. I aimed my camera up and snapped a picture. Bringing it down, I stared in awe. He was so beautiful.
When all the balloons were slowly lifted, the sky was dark. I carefully led Aaron to the yellow ignoring his whimper. When we came to the balloon I searched for the owner. I found her dressed in fishnets and a tight red dress. "I'm Toby."
Her bright red lips turned to a seductive smile and she leaned against me. "So you're the one I'm taking up?"
Aaron pinched my neck and I smiled. "My boyfriend actually."
She looked up at Aaron and sighed. "Thought I was gonna get lucky."
Aaron stiffened and looked away. I helped him slid down and took his hand. He tugged it from me and looked away with a red face. I grabbed his hand and pulled him against me, pressing my lips to his ear. "Are you jealous, Aaron?" His face darkened and his eyes snapped to mine. "Aaron, you're here with me and in with you. Come on, let's ride in balloon." He relaxed and tightened his hand around mine before stepping into the balloon.
The woman held out her hand, which Aaron ignored, and smiled. "Names Lilly, hope you enjoy the ride."
She stepped away from us and turned her attention to lifting us in the air. Aaron gripped the side of the balloon and I stood behind him, placing my hands over his. He leaned his head into my chest and smiled up at me. He leaned back over the balloon as we started to lift up making me uneasy. I let go of his hands and gripped his hips tightly. Aaron seem mystified by the ground slowly becoming farther away but it only made me feel sick. I had no idea how he enjoyed this. Pressing my face in his neck, I sighed.
"As high as were gonna go kids." Lilly shouted.
I opened my eyes and I almost vomited. We were so high up, the people below looked so small.
Aaron on the other hand, slipped from my grip and hung over the edge. He wasn't falling, but the way he stood on his toes made me panic. "Baby, please, stay over the edge."
Aaron sighed and pulled himself back. "Killjoy."
"You know it."
We spent another hour just hovering, even making small chat with Lilly. When we started down, Aaron's smile sighed away.
Lilly opened the small door and stepped out, letting is step past her. "Hope ya'll enjoined! Come again!"
Aaron pulled my hand to a stop and let go, shocking Lilly and I when he launched for Lilly. She gently wrapped her arms around him and he sniffled. "Thank you so much."
