"Simon? How you doing?" Josh whispered as the two were travelling to their next stop.

"Okay, I guess. Well, better now." He says, staring out the window, watching trees and buildings fly past.

"Are you sure you want to carry on? We'll stop if you want." Josh offers, seeing the sadness in Simon's eyes.

"No, no, of course I want to carry on. We can't stop now, we still have to go to the old.. football pitch we used."

Simon choked up at the thought of the football pitch, remembering all sorts of old memories the 7 of them used to have there.

"Are you sure, Simon?"

"I'm sure, Josh."

The rest of the ride was silent.

Nobody had used that football pitch ever since.
They pulled up outside and Simon swallowed the lump in his throat as he looked at the groups of people stood outside.

"Are you ready?" Josh asks, making him click back to reality.

"Ready as I'll ever be." He says with a smile.

The two hopped out and made their way towards the group, and without a doubt they were seen.

"It's Simon! Look, he's here!" A girl shouts, causing everyone to turn around and scream together.

The affection made Simon grin massively, he hasn't felt such affection in a while.

They had rented out the pitch so they could go inside to have more space, but what the boys didn't realise it that a few fans had brought footballs along with them so the lot could all play together.

Someone had handed a ball to Simon, and he stared down at it in his hands.
He hadn't played for a while, he hadn't even seen a ball for a while.

"Simon, come on!" One boy shouts, and he grins and runs to play.

The players screamed and cheered when Simon scored and he grinned and laughed at the reactions.

Josh had been sat at the side, watching, and talking to fans who hadn't wanted to play.

"So Josh, how's life been? Is everything going well?" One asks.

"We're getting there. It's not the best, but it's getting better. Simon is, too." He replies.

"I'm so proud of you both, after all of this, you're really getting back on track. I believe in you guys." A boy says, earning a few cheers in agreement, and Josh smiles.

"Thank you, it really means a lot."

"Are you guys gonna start uploading again?" Somebody asks, which obviously was a question many wanted to know.

"Not just yet, I don't think we're ready for it." He says with a sigh.

"It's okay, Josh. You take your time, we'll wait however long we have to, just as long as you two are okay." A girl says and smiles.

"Thank you, all of you. It really means a lot to know you still care." He says.

"Of course. We're true fans, no matter what happens, we're all gonna stay with you." The same girl says and everybody mumbles in agreement.

More cheers could be heard and the group look up to see the group of players all chasing Simon, who had obviously scored again, and he dives onto the floor as the players pile on top of him, in heaps of laughter, making Josh smile widely.

"Simon couldn't be happier right now, honestly. And nothing can ruin it."
