Yeah so these are all unfinished and I probably won't be finishing them ever but if you wanna finish any of these, feel free.

Piper came home and found Jason laying on the couch, underneath a dozen blankets.

She chuckled as she hung up her coat. "What happened to you?"

"Don't feel good." Jason croaked out. "I came home early from work an hour or so ago because I have a killer headache and my throat hurts."

Piper brought her hand to his forehead. "I think you have a fever."

---

Percy pushed open the door to his dorm at New Rome University to find his roommate half asleep on the couch, with a textbook open in front of him.

"Jason," Percy snapped his fingers in front of his face as he passed by. "You awake?"

Jason jumped, his expression a mixture of surprise and tiredness. "Yeah. Yeah, just zoned out."

Percy frowned. He really didn't think that was it. He'd known Jason for a few years, and although they started out with a rough patch, they had become really close. Percy knew what Jason looked like when he just zoned out, and what he had just seen was not it.

"You sure?" Percy pressed. "You look really tired."

"I'm fine, I was up late reading." Jason sneezed suddenly, then sniffled wetly. Noticing Percy's skeptical look, he repeated, "I'm fine."

Percy decided to let the subject drop. "Have you gotten dinner yet? Because I'm heading down to the dining hall if you want to join me."

"I'll go a bit later. I should finish this first." Jason motioned to the textbook that was open in front of him.

"Okay."

When Percy returned, just over an hour later, Jason hadn't moved from his spot on the couch, but looked considerably worse. His glasses were perched precariously on his nose, his eyes looked glazed over and far away, and his cheeks were flushed bright pink.

"You okay?" Percy asked, by way of greeting. Jason blinked slowly, then shrugged.

"I'm really sore for some reason." Jason yawned, wincing a little as he stretched. "But I'm sure it's nothing."

"No offense, but, uh, you look rough."

"I just... I don't know. Everything feels... off." Jason said.

"Maybe if you go to sleep now, you'll feel better in the morning?" Percy suggested helpfully.

A few hours after Jason had gone to bed, Percy crawled into his bed as well, falling asleep almost immediately. When he woke up, he realized that it was still too dark, and searched the room for what had disrupted his sleep.

Will sneezed again, his head snapping down towards his chest as he did s

Okay I literally wrote half a sentence months ago and haven't felt like finishing it haha

---

From the couch, Percy sniffled thickly and grabbed a tissue from the box on the coffee table to blow his nose. He'd been sick for two days now, sniffling and red-nosed, coughing up a storm and nursing a sore throat. Paul knew that Percy could handle a head cold, but still, it was the worst luck for both of them that Percy managed to get sick when Sally was out of town for a week. Paul had to admit, he didn't have much caretaking experience, but at least he was trying, right?

Percy sneezed, flipping through channels on the TV mindlessly. His head was too stuffy to actually focus on anything right now.

"We can rent a movie if you want." Paul offered.

"Wouldn't be able to focus." Percy sniffled. "My head is really fuzzy."

"Aren't you bored?"

Percy shrugged. "Yeah. I've been napping though, so it's not too bad."

"I have some DayQuil in the cabinet. That helps." His stepfather said. "Wait... Can demigods have regular medications? Or should you have some of that god food you eat? Mariposa?"

Percy chuckled, then coughed before correcting, "Ambrosia."

"Right. Should you have that instead of regular cold medicine?" Paul asked.

"Ambrosia raises body temperature, so I don't usually have any if I have a fever." He paused. "I just realized that I haven't taken my temperature in a while."

"We'll take your temp, and get some medicine in you."

Percy yawned. "Mortal medicine is good. I've been sick before, Paul."

"Sounds good." Paul dug a blister pack of cold medicine and the thermometer out of the medicine cabinet, then filled up a glass of water from the sink before returning to the living room. He first handed the thermometer to Percy, who stuck it underneath his tongue.

"Is that a ninety six or a ninety nine?" He asked, squinting at the thermometer.

"Ninety nine. That's a slight fever." Paul responded, snapping open the pack and handing the pills and the glass of water to Percy. "Take these, and finish the water while you're at it."

Percy swallowed the pills obediently, then sipped the rest of the water gingerly.

Some of these are kinda cringe but I figured here's a little something until I have time to write. I have two more finals guys! and then I have all of Christmas break so I'll probably get something up soon. Comment any requests here because I'm sure I have plenty but I don't feel like reading through all the old comments. Thanks for reading!
