Edward POV
Envy and I had packen our stuff and were about to leave Briggs. We were gonna go visit Winry and that old granny.
My brother was meeting us there too. Before we stepped outside into the cold air I put my red on Envy.
He looked at me confused.
"What's this for?", he asked. I facepalmed.
" Really? In case you haven't noticed you're still a little sick. I'm not letting this get worse", I stated.
"I've gotten better Ed I'm fine alright", he remarked. Then he sneezed and cursed.
" Better huh?", I said with a smirk. He glared at me as he grabbed a tissue and blew his nose.
"Shut up and let's go", he said putting the coat on.
I smiled at my victory and we headed to the train station. Once again Envy got bored on the train ride and whined the whole way there.
Thankfully due to his sickness he fell asleep for a couple hours. As he slept in my lap I looked out the window and thought about something.
" Maybe I'll go visit Mom's grave", I thought to myself. I still really missed her. Her smile was her best feature.
All we wanted was to see her smile again. I looked at my metal hand and sighed.
Finally the train stopped at Resembol. I was gonna wake Envy but it looked like I didn't need to.
"Achoo! .....are we here already?" I chuckled.
"Yeah, we're here. Get your things", I said. He sniffled and got his stuff. Then we walked over to Windy's house.
Al was outside playing with the dog. Winry and the granny were there waiting. Winry waved as we came closer.
Then she came up and hugged me tight. " Its good to see you guys", she stated.
She looked at Envy with slight guilt in her eyes. Envy smiled.
"Don't worry about what happened in Central. It wasn't your fault", he stated. She smiled.
" I see your still as small as ever", Granny said. I twitched in anger.
"What did you call me you little old woman?!", I yelled. We stood there and argued for a good 5 minutes the. Al told us to quiet down.
" Let's go inside and relax for a bit", Alphonse said. We went inside and got a chance to catch up a bit.
"So how was Briggs? Any fun?", Winry asked.
" It was, but then palm tree here had to get sick. He still is and won't admit it", I said with a bit of frustration in my voice.
"I told you a million times now Edward I'm just fine", he replied.
" Sure Envy. We'll go with that", Winry said sarcastically. Envy opened his mouth to say something but a sneeze came out instead.
"Sounds like a nasty cold to me", Alphonse stated. Envy muttered something to himself and I laughed.
Night time came and I put Envy straight to bed. He fell asleep easily. I looked out the window again. Thinking of mom.
That's when I decided to go visit her tomorrow.
