Envy POV
I ran as fast as I could. They were right. They were alright. I'm a monster and I know it.
Finally I found an alleyway that had no people nearby.
I hid inside and sat down, hugging my knees."Dammit, why can't he just accept it and leave me alone?", I mumbled to myself.
I felt a hand pat my head and I looked up. Ed's face had a warm smile.
He knelt down in front of me and took my hand.
" Envy, please tell me what's going on", he said. I took a deep breath.
"Edward, I'm a monster. You know it. I know it. Those soldiers, the waitresses, the damn voices in my head...." I trailed off as I got choked up.
"Voices? Envy what voices?", Edward asked.
I cleared my throat and continued.
"I've been hearing voices and they've been telling me that I'm a monster. And it's true. Its all true I know it! I'm a monster Edward!!! A MONSTER!!", I yelled.
Edward gave a look of sympathy. " Envy, its not true. Please don't say that. You've just been through so much. But you don't have to be alone", he patted my head and I looked at him.
"Envy, I'm here for you. You know that", he stated.
My eyes filled with tears. " Envy, I love you", he said.
I sniffled.
"I-I love you too", I replied. My whole body started shaking. " It hurt Edward, their words hurt. So much....", I said as my voice cracked.
I wanted to cry so badly.
Edward pulled me close and held me tight.
"I know Envy, I know....", he cooed.I buried my face in his chest. " Envy it's alright, let it all out", Edward said softly.
I started to cry my heart out.
Edward rubbed my back and rocked me slightly. "That's it, there you go. Its alright", he said.
I kept crying and he just sat there comforting me the whole time.
" I'm sorry Ed! I didn't wanna leave you! I didn't mean it! I need you! I need you Edward!!", I wailed.
Edward held me tighter and kissed my head. "I'm right here. I promise", he assured.
I kept crying for a bit longer than I started to calm down a bit.
I was reduced to a sniffling mess.
" Come on, let's get you home okay. You can get some proper rest", Edward said.
I nodded and clung to him. He picked me up and carried me home.
