Another Shawty ;) however I will complete it in a series of short chapters. Its too long to be added as another short story in The Babysitter. Lemme know what you guys think. This is un edited so please point out any errors I will correct them later: D
Jason and Rhonda were very excited. Their father had got a promotion and had been transferred to a new town a week ago. Today they were going to join him along with their mother.
"Mommy let's go!" yelled Rhonda excitedly. Her mother, Lorelei couldn't help but smile at her daughter's enthusiasm. Her nine year daughter was a typical 'daddy's princess' and she missed him terribly.
"In a minute honey. Jason! Check everything is shut one last time"
"Yes mom" yelled her 11 year old son. Ever since her husband had got transferred Jason had taken his role of being the man of the family very seriously and Lorelei was proud of her responsible son.
Just as she had finished loading their bags in the taxi Jason came running down the stairs.
"Everything's in place mom"
The three of them turned to look at the house they had loved so much for one last time. Suddenly Lorelei didn't want to go anymore. She got this forbidding feeling that seemed to tell her not to leave. She shook it off and the three of them got into the taxi and left.
By the time they reached their new home it was already dusk. The sun was setting and the last rays of goldenish orange bathed their new home.
"It looks beautiful!" said Rhonda staring at the huge bungalow.
"Yes" whispered Jason.
"Its huge isn't it?" asked Lorelei.
"Yes"
"Well let's go in and meet daddy!"
They all went inside to find Matthew resting on an armchair in the living room.
"Daddy!" yelled Rhonda and jumped straight into her father's lap.
"Hey sweety! I am so glad you guys are here!"
"Dad this place is awesome!" said Jason.
"Oh wait till you meet our neighbors, they are really kind people and have two kids about the same age as you!"
"Oh yayy we can start making new friends" said Rhonda.
Lorelei and Matthew hugged each other and soon Matthew was giving them a tour of their new home.
As soon as the kids got settled in their own rooms Matthew called them.
"Kids your mother and I have to go to a charity dinner tonight. Its being hosted by my company and its imperative that we attend" he said making a face and his children giggled.
"Now I have been unable to find a babysitter and the people next door are coming with us as well but we will be leaving their children with you. I trust you guys can be left alone for a few hours?"
At this Jason puffed his chest out and said solemnly, "You can count on me daddy"
"That's my boy"
A few minutes later the doorbell rang and the family from next door walked in, "Hey there Rogers!" said a plump man walking in.
"Greg! Meet my children, this is Jason and Rhonda"
"Nice to meet you Mr. Greg"
"Nice to meet you too kids, this is my wife Sheila and my children, Jessica and Heath"
