Jessica screamed as she felt the knife graze her arm. Heath rushed from behind the couch and pushed Jason aside. Jason shook himself as if he had woken up from a daze and looked in horror at what he had done.

"Jessica! I am so sorry!"

"Its ok Jason, you didn't do it on purpose but I want this game done with"

"Look!" shouted Rhonda pointing at the crystal.

"Your wish is about to come true when the horrors of the night revisit you"

"What is that supposed to mean?" whispered Jessica, wiping the blood trickling down the arm.

On cue, the lights went off.

"Oh no" whispered Rhonda, huddling close to Jessica.

Next Jessica felt an incessant tapping on her shoulder. Irritated she turned around and yelled, "WHat?"

Her blood froze as the girl from the mirror stood there right next to her grinning at her. She grabbed Heath and gave the dice in his hand hoping he would take the hint and ran as the girl followed her laughing like a maniac. Heath was struck dumb and couldn't move from his place.

They were being confronted with their worst nightmares.

Suddenly Jessica's screaming was interrupted by Rhonda's. Heath and Jason turned around to see That once again hands had erupted from below the couch and grabbed Rhonda. Heath pulled at her with all her might and soon Jason joined him to no avail.

Suddenly Heath was thrown across the room and he looked up to see the same creature. As the creature swiped its claws across Heath's face he threw the dice across the room.

Meanwhile Jason struggled amidst the chaos to keep his sister up. Just as suddenly Jessica's screaming stopped, the lights came on, the hands stopped tugging at Rhonda and the creature disappeared.

Jessica came running, to where Jason, Heath and Rhonda were huddled around the game board. All their faces had turned a deathly pale color.

"What does it say this time?"

Jason pointed to the crystal ball.

"We have decided to end this night, in order to this you must die of fright"

"No!" yelled Jason, "Nooooo! Rhonda roll the dice" he said thrusting it in her hand.

Just as Rhonda was about to roll the dice there was a crack of lightening and what they saw had them screaming their heads off.

Thud

Thud

Thud

Thud

Each one fell as their heart stopped of fright and all they could hear was the clattering of the dice.

The four didn't see the final words that formed in the crystal ball.

"As a lesson to be learnt and remembered with fright you shall every year re live this night"

10 years later.

A girl and her friend were passing by the old house. It was run down by now and nobody had inhabited it since the four children were found dead by their parents. It said that their hearts had simply stopped working, they had died of fright.

Nothing could be found amiss at their home and it was concluded that they had probably scared each other with scary stories. They couldn't come up with any other possible explanation. The two girls gave the home a wide berth when one of them pointed out.

"Look the newspaper is still at their doorstep"

Her friend shuddered and said, "Lets go its getting dark"

Jason waved at the two girls and frowned when they didn't wave back. He shrugged and then glanced at the doorstep and his eyes fell on the newspaper. It was tattered and torn but he could barely make out a headline that said,

"F_ur children foun_ frightened to death"

He shook his head and his eyes widened as he saw that the date was about 10 years ago from now. He kicked the newspaper off and closed the door.

Once inside he yelled, "Jessica, Rhonda, Heath! Come on. We have to begin playing!"
