Markle: I still don't understand why we got the tree so late!
Sophie: Because then it will last longer!
Markle: But That doesn't make any sense! We'll only have it up until New Year's Day!
Sophie: Well then we can plant it in the garden!
Markle: Whatever.
Sophie: Well anyway, who wants to kick the decorating off!?
Mononoke: Off of what?
Lynn: O think she means who wants to start it.
Mononoke: Oh, count me out.
Chihiro: I'll go.
Chihiro puts an ornament that's shaped like a bouquet of beautiful roses.
Sophie: That's a very lovely ornament Chihiro.
Chihiro: Thanks! My dad gave it to me.
Lynn: I guess I'll go next.
Lynn puts an ornament up that is pretty much a giant golden ball.
Sophie: Very nice Lynn.
Then everyone just starts hanging up their ornaments. Haku places an ornament that looks like a little paper crane on the tree, while Mononoke places one that looks like a giant deer on it.
Then comes Hashitaka who hangs an elk on the tree, followed by Markle who puts a turnip ornament on which gets some looks from everyone else. But they proceed to Howl who places a giant bird ornament on the tree.
Finally they get to Sophie who places an airplane on a branch. They all stand back to admire it.
Sophie: Well! That looks quiet lovely!
Mononoke: I guess.
Hashitaka elbows Mononoke.
Mononoke: I mean, it looks good.
Calcifer: HANG ON! I DIDN'T GET TO PUT ONE ON THE TREE!
Howl: Calcifer, you are literally made of fire!
Calcifer: Fine! Then Markle? Would you be SO kind as to put my ornament on the tree?
Markle walks up to Calcifer who nods toward the hearth where Markle notices a small ornament shaped like a heart.
Sophie: Oh Calcifer! It's lovely!
Calcifer: Ya ya don't get all gushy on me Lady.
They all smile and sit together just staring at the tree.
