I grumble, rolling my eyes and spinning myself around to look at Dae. "I don't know what her problem is. I'm just trying to look out for her!" I say annoyed. Dae looks at me and says simply "Baby, I know you're worried about her. I am too, but if we force ourselves into her life she'll just shut us out completely" I run my hands through my hair and nod. I walk over to where Dae is tiding up after breakfast. I grab a scrubber and statut to help her out. I wonder where she's off to though. "That was actually quite an attractive bloke. Not her usual type." We begin to converse "Baby, just drop it okay?" She retorts. I sigh and reluctantly agree. "Wanna go out any where tonight? For dinner?" I ask her with hope. "Well, we'll have to see what Loni wants to do." She replies in a mellow tone. "No, i mean do you and I wanna go to dinner? No one else." I reply with eagerness. "Not tonight baby, remember I'm working late at the hospital." She replies. Her face dropping. "Ohhhh yeeeeah, why is that? I know you told me but I forgot" I reply slightly disappointed but remembering back that Dae did tell me she was working late. "Mrs Fraser needs to have her labour induced and Melanie is on vacation which means it's juts me, Hannah and Kora on the maternity suite tonight." She replies with the same disappointment. "It's ok baby, buuuut do you wanna rent a movie and pop some popcorn? Day in today?" I question her with hope in my eyes. "That sounds perfect!" She replies with a smile.

The heater in our bedroom creates a dense heat in the bedroom. I walk up the hall treading lightly. I near my room and reach out my hand to grab hold of the brass handle. Wrapping my hands around the door knob and swinging open the door to reveal a very hot room. The heat is so intense it smacks me in the face. I reach over and turn down the heater. I walk over to our large wooden wardrobe and pull open the doors. I grab a Paramore muscle shirt and some baggy grey sweat pants. I pull away the silky black spaghetti straps off my shoulders and let the dress tumble to the floor. I grab my shirt and swiftly throw it on and do the same with the sweatpants. I walk out and grab some socks and shoes and chuck them. I throw my hair into a loop as I walk down the hall. I walk up to the bench and pull my phone off charge, grab the grocery list off the fridge and a few grocery bags. I give my girlfriend a kiss and tell her I'll be back soon and with a swift movement I left. I grab the keys out of the bowl at the front door and walk ou to our small blue car. I pull open the door and shove myself in making an 'oof' sound as I pull the car door closed. I turn on the engine and with that the radio comes  on too. My car fills with the sound of Calvin Harris singing Sweet nothings. I tug my lips into a small smile,  this is mine and Dahlia's song. I pull out of the drive way headed to the shops to buy some groceries for the love of my life. I've never met anyone who's made me this happy.
