The Futuristic Four- Heroes of Time

Chapter 3: Introductions

"Alright Hiro, I need you to make these," Wilbur stated and handed Hiro some blueprints.

"Where'd you get these from?" Hiro asked as he looked at the impressive detail all the suits had.

"I made them," Wilbur stated.

"So why don't you build them?" Hiro asked him confused. How could he make something like this and not know how to make it?

"I'm not a super genius like you are. I can make the blueprints and follow them, sure, but I don't know what half of these things are, this is more of a guideline, you can modify whatever you like," Wilbur explained.

"Oh, alright?" Hiro agreed and went to work.

"Alright, now explain what's going on," Invisigirl commanded with her arms crossed.

They were currently inside of the lab Mr. Robinson had bought Hiro. Hiro's microbots had been lost in the fire, but Mr. Robinson told him that it was nothing to be discouraged about and that he knew he could still create amazing things. Invisigirl was sitting in a chair, Penny was on the floor petting Bolt, and Wilbur was standing beside Hiro's desk.

"Well, as you all can see I'm from the future," Wilbur started.

"We're from the future," Hiro corrected as he started working on the suits.

"I'm from further in the future," Wilbur commented with pride.

"Anyways, I traveled back in time to now, Hiro's time, to "save" his brother from a fire and to stop a villain named Yokai, Professor Callaghan, who stole Hiro's invention to get revenge on Alistair Krei. Hiro formed a team called Big Hero 6 to defeat him, and they did, but an old villain, Syndrome, Invisi-girl you two have met, got him after the fire and time changed. My dad had created this watch that allows me to see the changes in the timeline. The moment Syndrome teamed up with him superheroes from the past started disappearing. I did some research and found that in the middle of it all... are us four," Wilbur explained and hesitated a bit before saying the last part.

"Syndrome wants revenge on Violet's entire family for humiliating and almost killing, him. He thinks that the best revenge is to make you watch as he destroys your family. Dr. Calico is actually a Bolt super fan that went crazy. He thinks that the show actually happened and that the Season 2 Penny is a decoy, which is why he wants to kidnap you. Somehow he was able to find your real dad, and thinking him to be a super genius, wants to keep you as ransom. Hiro, Professor Callaghan wants to stop you from being able to stop him since Syndrome was kind enough to tell him about how you formed a team of heroes to defeat him to avenge Tadashi. However, seeing as I saved Tadashi he has let his guard down, thinking that there's no need for you to go after him. As for me, they know I'm the only one who can bring you all together, plus they stole my other time machine so they know I want it back." 

"Wait, so if what you're saying is true, how are we supposed to stop it?" Penny asked confused.

"That's the thing, the next move depends on us, we either form the team and fight to defeat them, or you all think I'm insane and refuse to help, so what will it be?" Wilbur asked.

Penny, Hiro, and Violet exchanged glances before Violet spoke up.

"Well, I'm a super and that's what supers do, so I'm in," she replied with a smile.

"You said I had formed a team anyways, so why not?" Hiro smiled nervously and agreed.

"I'm just an average girl, but alright, I'm in," Penny agreed after a few seconds of thinking it over.

"Great! We are now officially the Futuristic Four!" Wilburn exclaimed.

"The Futuristic Four? Like the comics?" Hiro asked.

"Yup! They're fictional, but people will think we're all experienced if something with the NSA comes up. Since we're going to be fighting evil together we'll have to get to know each other right? No secrets. I'll go first. My name is Wilbur Robinson from the year 2038, I'm 14 years old, the son of Cornelius Robinson, and I became the Time Traveler in order to "save" Hiro's brother and stop Professor Callaghan from stealing Hiro's microbots. I succeeded one mission and failed the other, so far," Wilbur explained.

"I knew it couldn't be a coincidence! Who names their child Wilbur?" Hiro exclaimed.

"Really super-hiro?" Wilbur asked with his arms crossed. Hiro rolled his eyes and went back to his computer.

"Quick question, why did you put quotation marks in the word save?" Penny asked and Hiro nodded.

"The thing is that Tadashi didn't really die in the fire, everyone thought he had, but he survived...and became a villain. At first, I just wanted to save him, but after I found out he became a villain I was hoping that by saving him I could stop him from turning evil," Wilbur explained. There was a bit of an awkward silence that no one knew how to break.

"I guess I should go next," Invisigirl interrupted and took off her mask.

"My name is Violet Parr, I'm also 14 years old. My family and I form the superhero team the Incredibles. My powers are the ability to make myself invisible and create force fields," Violet explained.

"Well, I'm Hiro Hamada, I'm a genius, umm I graduated high school at the age of 13, I live with my aunt and older brother, and...I like inventing," Hiro said unsure of himself.

"My turn," Penny said and giggled a bit," Umm, my name is Penny Forrester, I am a child actress from the T.V show Bolt, and that's it. I'm not a time traveler or genius, and much less a superhero," she explained and half-smiled.

"Penny Forrester, just like the show?" Hiro asked.

"Yup! Have any of you ever seen it?" Penny asked.

"Of course!" Hiro and Wilbur exclaimed at the same time.

"Really? People from over 30 years in the future?" Penny commented in disbelief.

"Are you kidding? You were my firs-favorite actress!" Hiro exclaimed and stuttered a bit.

"Bolt is one of the most popular shows of all time, well the first season anyway. After you left it was pretty obvious they were just trying to milk all the money they could," Wilbur said while waving his hands around.

"Yeah, why did you leave?" Hiro asked curiously.

"Oh, well-" Penny started before being interrupted. The door opened making everyone jump. Penny and Hiro were unsure of what to do, but Wilbur and Violet put their masks on and got into fighting stances. If an enemy was going to try to attack them they would be ready.
