Chapter 4: Meeting Big Hero 6

Happy New Year!!

"Hiro!" a voice called as the door was opened.

"Tadashi! Guys, what are you doing here?" Hiro asked as he quickly as hid everything and put his chin in his hand.

"We came to check up on you," Honey Lemon told him. Everyone else came in and looked around the lab.

"Hey, who are your friends?" Tadashi asked slightly taken aback. Hiro could practically see the happiness radiating off of him.

"They are Penny, Wilbur, and Violet," Hiro introduced them.

"Umm...Violet went to the restroom," Wilbur said. Hiro looked around and noticed she was gone.

"She must have turned invisible when she heard Tadashi come in," Hiro concluded in his mind.

"Oh cool! There's a bathroom here? Can I go next? I ate a burrito before coming here and it's not sitting well," a guy with blond hair and a laid-back demeanor asked.

"No, there isn't a bathroom here," Hiro stated and glanced Wilbur.

"Wilbur! She told you not to say anything!" Penny scolded him. Everyone else glanced at each other and immediately dropped the subject. 

"Anyways, what are your names?" Penny asked.

"I'm Tadashi, Hiro's older brother, these are Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Go-Go, and Fred," Tadashi said as he gestured to each of them.

"Oh yeah! He mentioned you guys. Tadashi the nerdy older brother who's too scared to ask Honey Lemon the chemist out, Wasabi with OCD, Fred the comic book reader, and Go Go the cool one," Wilbur told them. 

Tadashi and Honey's faces went completely red when they heard his description of them. This also caused Fred and Wasabi to laugh while Go Go just smirked at them.

"I'm surprised Hiro has friends. He seemed too socially awkward to deal with them," Go Go commented with a pop of her bubble gum.

"No, I'm not!" Hiro grumbled and crossed his arms.

"No, he's very nice," Penny defended and smiled at him, but couldn't suppress a giggle.

Everyone except for Penny looked at Hiro with a slight smirk. He looked at all of them confused until he realized what they meant. He groaned and slid lower into his chair, Tadashi was going to get revenge, he just knew it. Bolt started to whimper and sniff the air close to a couch in the lab, so Penny quickly walked over and picked him up.

"I'm going to go check on Violet," Penny said and walk out the door. 

To everyone else, it seemed like she had just walked out like normal, but she had actually lingered just enough so that an invisible Violet could get out. No one knew what to say, so they stayed quiet for a few minutes before Tadashi cleared his throat.

"So, how did you all meet?" Tadashi asked. Right after he said that Violet, Bolt, and Penny walked in. Violet was wearing a tank top and leggings along with Penny's trench coat.

"We went to the same school," Violet answered.

"But after Hiro graduated we all moved to different places for one reason or another. We all came back today and wanted to surprise Hiro," Wilbur cut in.

"Really? I don't remember Hiro mentioning you," Tadashi commented.

"H-he didn't? I mean, of course, he didn't, he's too busy being a genius," Penny said in a hurt voice and Bolt whimpered.

She seemed to be on the verge of tears, her act was so believable that Hiro, Wilbur, and Violet almost bought it. The only reason they knew it was an act was that they had just met a few hours ago.

"No, he did mention you! Remember Tadashi?" Honey Lemon intervened and nudged Tadashi while smiling.

"Oh, right! How could I forget?" he asked with an awkward laugh," Anyways, you guys have probably not gotten to hang out since Hiro graduated. We wanted to invite Hiro out to the arcade. Why don't you guys come too?"

"I'm not sure-" Hiro started to say.

"We'd love to!" Wilburn interrupted him.

"Great, let's go!" Honey Lemon exclaimed before grabbing Tadashi's arm and running out the door. The rest followed behind them while Wilbur, Violet, Penny, and Hiro remained.

"Why did you say yes?" Violet asked in a whisper-shout voice.

"We're going to have to train a lot in the next few days to months, so we might as well have some fun before it happens. Don't worry guys, everything will be fine," Wilbur explained nonchalantly.

"If you say so," Violet gave in with a sigh.

"Oh, yeah. That was some great acting Penny," Hiro complemented Penny as they walked closer to the door.

"Thanks, all the training for Bolt paid off I guess. I'm also glad I usually have extra clothes in case I need to run away from paparazzi," Penny told them and laughed.

They walked out and saw Tadashi and his friends waiting for them.

"Come on, the arcade is really close, so we can just walk," Wasabi explained and they all headed off.

"You guys are going to love this! Pizza Planet has just added, like, 10 new games!" Fred exclaimed with excitement.

"Pizza Planet? It's still around?" Violet asked.

"Of course, why wouldn't it be?" Go Go asked.

"No reason," Violet said and smiled.

"This is going to be fun, Todayland doesn't have a Pizza Planet," Wilbur commented with a grin.

"Todayland? That's quite a move, you guys came all the way from there?" Honey Lemon asked.

"Yeah," Penny answered almost a bit unsure.

"That's cool, dude! I'm always wanted to go so I can ride the Bubble transportation they have," Fred told them. 

They all laughed and continued to talk about their lives. Penny and Violet had to be more careful of what they said and stuck to broad descriptions. Wilbur and Hiro would often add on to what they said to make their story more believable.
