"Remember to keep your cool. You've kept secrets of your own," Wilbur reminded him. Hiro nodded and breathed in before opening the door.

“Aunt Cass?” Hiro called once he entered the closed cafe. The rest followed him inside.

“I’m upstairs!” Aunt Cass responded.

Hiro looked at his friends and held his breath.

“Oh, you brought some friends over! Would you like anything to drink or eat?” Aunt Cass asked them and walked over.

“No, thank you,” Violet responded.

“Actually Aunt Cass, I wanted to ask you something,” Hiro said.

“Oh, of course. What did you want to ask, Hiro?” she asked.

“Wait,” Wilbur whispered and the lights went off. Penny gasped and Bolt started barking.

“It’s okay, just a little dark,” Violet comforted her.

“Oh! What happened?” Aunt Cass asked out loud and lit some candles so they could see.

“In case there are any microphones or cameras,” Wilbur whispered to Hiro.

“Must be a power outage,” Hiro told her.

“But the rest of the buildings have-” Aunt Cass questioned.

“Do you have superpowers?” Hiro asked quickly.

“Superpowers?” Aunt Cass asked and laughed a bit.

However, she saw how serious he was and stopped. She glanced at his friends with uncertainty.

“Your imagination is running wild, that’s good. We’ll talk, but first help me get some snacks for your friends and we'll set some candles out,” Aunt Cass told him and pulled him into the small kitchen while Penny, Bolt, Violet, and Wilbur sat down on the couch.

“Hiro this is something private,” she whispered in an attempt to coax him out of the situation.

“They can be here,” Hiro assured her.

“No, this is for their safety,” Aunt Cass sternly told him.

“Trust me, they won’t judge,” Hiro told her and walked to the couch with bags of chips for his friends before she could protest. Aunt Cass ate nervously before walking to the couch.

“Okay, to answer your question, yes, how did you find out?” she responded a bit shakingly as she lit the candles.

“We’ve been experimenting with Baymax and found a gene that gives people powers,” Hiro explain, albeit a bit vaguely, and glanced at Violet and Wilbur.

They nodded and he continued,” Violet can turn herself invisible and Wilbur can control electricity.”

Violet showed her by making her hand invisible and Wilbur created some sparks in between his fingers. Aunt Cass was surprised and continued to listen.

“We decided to scan a bunch of different people, and found, so far, that not everyone has it and those who do have it can have an inactive one or an active one. Inactive is when their powers are not yet unlocked and active is when they are. Your scan said it was active,” Hiro told her.

“So what do you want to know?” Aunt Cass asked.

“Why didn’t you tell us? What powers do you have? Is it a genetic thing? Does Tadashi know?” Hiro bombarded her with questions, but before he could ask anymore Wilbur put a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.
