Chapter 7

I was in the dungeon after a very bad beating my mother walked in and I cried.

"Mother. Why is he doing this?"

She hugged me.

"Something happened and your father found out that your not his. This was the only thing i could think of then him killing you." I cried.

"Why mother?! I hurt. Make him stop." She shook her head.

"It'll get better baby just don't make him mad." I nodded.

"Now let's go get you cleaned up."

I woke up i looked out of the window and it was still dark indicating it's still night.

I sat up on the bed and put my head to my knees.

I wish noah was here.

I was walking through the castle I barely get to do this so when i was given the opportunity i took it.

"Hey! Hey princess Katherine." I turned and saw a guy.

"Yes."

"You dropped this your majesty." I looked at the earrings he had in his hand.

I touched my ear and saw that is did fall.

"Oh my. Why thank you." He smiled.

"No problem." He said.

He walked away and i watched him walk to the warriors.

I was knocked out of my thought when my door opened I looked at it and saw lola.

I smiled and invited her in she did so.

"Your majesty why are you always up so early?" She asked.

"I have night terrors." She gave me a sad smile.

"If you don't mind me asking-"

"I'm a bastard. My mom cheated on my dad and you'd think he would kill her but no he didn't he just uses me as a way to ease his anger." I curled up in my bed.

"Can you run me a hot bath." She nodded and left my room to go to the bathroom.

I sighed.

It had been a week since i saw the guy in the hallway i was currently in my room cleaning up my wounds.

I walked out.

"Katherine!" I turned around and saw my father.

I put my head down "yes father."

"Your mother's ring went missing. Did you take it if you did there will be consequences." I shook my head.

"No father I didn't take it."

"Are you lying to me." I shook my head.

I opened my mouth to talk.

"She was with me your majesty." The guy i met in the hallway said.

"Is this true?" My father asked I nodded.

"Well then. I suppose your mother just misplaced." He said.

"Noah, tell your father i said hello and thank you for all the training his been a blessing." Noah nodded and my father walked away.

I looked at Noah.

"Thanks but you didn't have to do that."

"I wanted to, now you owe me." I smiled.
