Chapter 5

Christmas is this coming up Monday and its Friday what do I get everybody? I asked Professor Dumblrdore if Hermione and I could go to Hogmead and shop. He didnt mind so we walked.

This is what I got everyone

Hermione: and book called-Advanced Restricted Potions.

Ron: a book called- How Not To Be An Idiot as a joke along with Chocolate frogs.

Harry: a couple of books sweets and got him a new scarf. His looked weird and a bit odd.

George: ultimate Prank kit

Fred: Ultimate Prank kit with restricted prank items. I put a not on both for them to share

I even got Malfoy something

I got him a gold watch with a  green snake. It was a really nice watch. A bit expensive but oh well.

Malfoy really hasn't spoken to me in a bit. But I just shrug it off. Our first Quidditch game is soon. I hope we win. That would be amazing!

I'm in the Gryffindor common room with Harry and Ron and watch them open their presents along with mine.

This is what I got.

From Mrs. Weasley: A baby blue sweater with a light freaky H. It was big so I guess Ron told her I wear over sized clothes.

From the Twins: Starters Prank Set

From Hermione: Book about Hogwarts Back Stories

Ron: chocolate frogs and other sweets

Harry: a bracelet that matched my necklace.

I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas.

"Hailey there's another one here for you. Its says

Is that Malfoy? Why is he getting you a gift?" Ron asked

"Well I'm not sure I got him a gift though." I said

"You what?" Harry asked

"What its nice to get others a gift." I said

"He's the enemy! Ron said

"Oh please. Its just a gift." I said and opened it.

"Wow." Is all I could say my eyes even started to water a bit.

"Are you alright?" Harry asked

"Yeah. Its just so pretty." I said.

It was a necklace with a purple snake with diamonds all around it. It was so beautiful. There was a note.

Dear Hailey,

Hope you like your gift. Didn't really know what you liked but hope you like it. Its as beautiful as you. Have a merry Christmas.

"Harry can you help me put it on?" I asked him

"Wait your gonna put it on? What if he cursed it?" Ron asked

"Ron first of all he wouldn't di that. And second I'm gone through more curses than you can count alright?" I said. Harry helped me put it on and I looked in the mirror and smiled.

I'm just walking through the halls and bumb into somebody

"Oops sorry." I say

"Watch wh- oh hey Hailey." Draco said

"Hey Draco." I said with a smile

"I see you got my gift." He says with a smirk

"Yes its beautiful thank you." I said and gave him a hug.

"Anytime." He said with a chuckle.

"I see you got my gift." I say looking at his wrist.

"Yes. Its pretty cool. Thanks." He said

"Did the Draco Malfoy just thank me?" I ask jokingly

"Oh geez." He said rolling his eyes playfully.

"Im sorry about what happened in the library that one night." I said shyly

"Its okay. I didnt know it would affect you." He said

"Yeah i just went through things when I was younger. But if you want to know why I wear this hat and over sized clothes I can tell you." I said

"Really? Okay if you want." He said

We walked and I told him. I already told Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Draco was shocked then his face was filled with anger. Weird.

Its finally the day on the game. Im kinda nervous. Professor McGonagall got Harry and I both thought Nimbus 2000 which was the best thing ever!

"Nervous"? Oliver asked

"A little." Harry and I said

"You will both be fine. Just watch oit for the Quaffle." He said

We waited and the doors opened. We mounted our brooms and flew out.

So far we're tied with Slytherin. I saw the Snitch and went after it. Harry saw it to and tried to help. The other two Slytherin seekers can after us. I went straight down after the snitch and pulled up just in time before hitting the ground like the other Slytherin. I heard 'Wow' and 'ous' from the crowd. I Harry was next to me I nodded and slowed down. Made sure nobody hit him or got the snitch. He stool on his broom and tripped.

"Looks like he's gonna be sick." I heard someone say from the crowd. I think it was Hagrid but he was right. Harry looked like he was sick. After a moment Harry spit out the Snitch and raised it up. Everybody cheered except for Slytherin of course.

"Harry Potter caught the Snitch 150 points Gryffindor wins!" The kid giving scores says.

Today was a fun day. Interesting but fun. Tomorrow I'm helping Hagrid with detentions. We're supposed to go into the forbidden forest to look for something. Im really excited.

I'm getting ready for bed because I'm really tired. With a few extra thoughts I finally fell asleep.
