Chapter 18

I heard that Fred and George tried to enter their names into the goblet of fire but failed. It was a funny story actually. Harry said that they grew beards like Dumbledore.

"Can I have your attention please?" Dumbledore asked the whole room. We were at dinner and I'm guessing he's picking out names now. "Im going to be picking the names so pay attention." He said

A piece of paper flew out and fell into his hand.

"Viktor Krum." He said.

They all went while and he went to a different room.

Another flew out and read
"Fleur Delacour." Dumbledore said

She went up and went to the same room and Viktor.

"Cedric Diggory!" Dumbledore said.

Two other pieces flew out. Its only supposed to be three people. I was confused and worried

"Lets see here. Harry and Hailey Potter." He said

"What? But I didn't put my name in there. No I cant do this tournament. Look at me I'll be the first dead!" I shouted. I was really scared.

"Harry and Hailey go now." Dumbledore said

I slowly walked to the room with tears in my eyes. I didn't want to do this! Who would put my name in the stupid fire?! Ugh!

"Hailey are you okay? I can tell you didn't put your name in the fire. I didn't put my name in there either." Harry said to me giving me a hug.

"I know Harry. When Dumbledore was talking about it in the beginning I saw you weren't interested." I said to him.

"Professor there must be a mistake. We didn't put our names in the fire." Harry said to Professor McGonagall

"You may not have but somebody did, and your names were chosen. Rules are rules you have to do the tournament no matter what." She said

"Well this tournament sucks!" I said

Professor Noddy came in and talked to everyone then we went outside where everyone else was.

"Look here, what's wrong Potter's had to cheat your way in and got caught?" Malfoy asked Harry and I.

"Neither of us wanted to do this so would you just leave it alone?" I asked with pleading eyes.

His eyes softened but then went dark again

"No. I don't have to listen to some cheater. That's all you Potters do is cheat. Me and my father made a bet that you wont later 10 minutes." He said laughing.

"I don't care what you or your father thinks Malfoy! Your both Pathetic!" Harry yelled at him

"Pathetic?" Malfoy asked yelling. He went to shoot a spell at Harry but I jumped in front of him and it hit me. Then moody turned him into a faret.

Moody made him go up and down into the air while Harry stood next to me. Looks like Malfoy shot a curse. Great cause I don't go through these enough.

Professor McGonagall turned Malfoy back into well Malfoy and helped me to the hospital wing.

We were in Moody's class and he just went through a curse that makes you do things you want. I forget what it was called but it was funny. He made it to onto Malfoy's face and Crabbe's head. He put it on my shoulder. It wasn't the prettiest creature but it was an interesting looking one.

"Can someone name the other two curses for me?" He asked

I raised my hand quickly

"Yes Ms.Rose or Ms.Potter? He asked not sure which to call me

"Um Potter is fine sir but they are called the Cruciatus Curse and The Killing Curse with are Crucio which is what Malfoy shot at me and Avada Kedavra." I told him

"I didn't shoot it at you, I shot it at Harry!" Malfoy spat

"Yeah well I'd rather have it hit me then him!" I shouted

"And why is that?" He asked

"Because he's my brother and I would die for him. I will always put myself before him even if its Voldemort himself trying to kill him! I shouted.

"You are brave to speak his name." Moody said to me

"Its just a name. Nothing scary about it." I said bluntly

"Very well then." Noddy said then did the other two curses on the spider looking creature.

I skipped dinner and went to GI practice the dance. I wasn't hungry anyways.

I went to try and talk to Ron but he was ignoring me. It hurt knowing that he didn't want to talk to me. I felt so alone. Harry was always with Hermione about the stupid Ball and I had nobody. Not even Ginny she was always with her boyfriend. Why is everyone gone when I need them the most?

"Looks boys its a lost Rose." I heard a voice say

"Not now Malfoy." I said to him

"Last names again?" He asked

"Yes, I gotta go" I said walking away

"Oh not so fast." He said grabbing my arm

"What do you want?" I asked. He was gripping onto my arm tighter

"Ow! Malfoy my arm, your hurting me!" I yelled at him

His eyes softened and his face was guilty.

"I-im Sorry." He said

"Forget it." I said walking past him. What was up with him? Ugh!

Why is everything going downhill now?
