Chapter 10

"Hailey! Come on we're going to be late! Hermione said basically yelling in my ear.

"Uhh." Is all I could said I got up and changed into my robes. Hermione made me wear a skirt but I'm wearing and over sized Hogwarts sweatshirt.

"Come on!" She said pulling me out of the common room.

"Hey Harry, hey Ron. How was the Howler?" I asked

"Vicious." Ron said

"I bet." I said with a laugh.

"Hailey come on." Hermione said pulling me

"Okay, see you later guys." I said to them before getting pulled away.

Hermione wanted to get to potions a bit early so she could start on the point earlier. Not sure why though. Shes a weird one I tell ya. But in a good way. We were walking well I was being pulled by a running Hermione. Then she stopped out of no where making me bump into her.

"Mione why did you stop?" I asked

"Well, well, well if it isnt the Mudblood and the little Rose." Malfoy spat.

"I thought I told you to stop calling her that Malfoy." I said stepping in front of Hermione.

"What are you gonna do about it?" He asked with a smirk.

I got closer to his face. Only a few inches apart. "Trust me, you don't want to find out." I spat then took Hermione and walked off.

"How are you not afraid of him?" She asked

"Why be afraid of a low life heartless jerk?" I asked

"I guess that's true." she said.

We were in potions and I just finished my potion. The first one finished actually.

"Ms.Rose why are you not working on your point?" Snape asked coldly.

"Im finished Professor." I said

"Finished? Its only been 30 minutes?" He said with a bit of disbelief in his voice

"Yeah. And I'm finished. You of all people should know that I'm good with potions." I said with a giggle.

"Yes well you can help me make sure nobody blows anything up then." He said with a small smirk but quickly hid it.

"Yes sir." I said

"Ms.Rose how have your curses been?" He asked

"Well they are the same as usual but Hermione helped me out a lot when they came. The Cruciatus curse doesn't hurt as much though. It just feels like a shot from the doctors office now. But there was a new curse it was odd. If froze my body, I had to think of a memory that I was burning hot." I said

"She though of the memory of us swimming in my pool. It was a very hot day that day." Hermione said

"You? In a swimsuit? Please we only see you in oversized clothing." Pansy spat.

"Yes well its my choice. If I wanted to show what I have then I would. But I don't want to so leave me alone." I said to her.

She just gave me a dirty look and Snape gave her a 'you better keep your mouth shut or your getting detention' type of look.

"Hey Malfoy. Your doing the wrong potion. You stir 5 times clockwise then add mermaid hair, not the other way around." I said to him

"How do you know these?" He asked

"Snape made me do then before any of you were here. I know somethings that 7 years don't even know." I told him.

"Whatever." He said then did the point that right way.
