"Lucifer." Sapphire said looking up at Itachi.

Itachi's eyes had widened. "Lucifer?"

"Why Lucifer?" Nomi asked, grabbed Sapphire's arm.

"You know as well as I do the power Lucifer has to offer. And how long he has admired me as a ninja." Sapphire began. "If I could convince him in any way to help, there's no way the sorcerer would win."

Sapphire suddenly felt two different energies clash together, making a headache spring up. One was a heavy energy, and the other was more light, but yet it was powerful.

Nomi rolled his eyes. "What would Michael say to this?" He mumbled to himself.

"What was that?" Sapphire said glaring up at him. "The Guardians don't exist and you know it. They have never been seen before and you know it."

"Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there!" Nomi snapped. "You have never seen me before yesterday, did that mean I didn't exist?"

Sapphire remained in a stare at Nomi.

"The Guardians: Gabreal, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Remiel Saraqael, and their leader, Michael." Nomi named.

"Sapphire, Satan is no body you want to mess with." Itachi said.

"Why call him that?" Sapphire yelled. "You make Lucifer sound like he is pure evil."

"Sapphire he is!" Itachi struck Sapphire across the face.

"Lucifer protected me." Sapphire growled.

At that Itachi realized what had happened. Sapphire had grown weak, and vulnerable, and gave into the sorcerer. Due to Lucifer corrupting the sorcerer back when he was pure, his influence had gone onto her.

"Sapphire, Satan's corruption has begun onto you. You have to listen to me, Sapphire." Nomi grabbed her head and pointed it towards his.

Sapphire shook her head and looked back up at Nomi. "You're right."

Itachi took a sigh of relief, placing his hand on his chest. "We need to reblock your memory, or else the sorcerer will take you again."

"Michael is the only one who is strong enough to block out memories of Lucifer." Nomi said.

"Okay, even if the Guardians existed, where would we start looking?" Sapphire asked, almost in a bratty way.

"That's the thing, no one knows." Nomi smiled.

"Then why the hell would you even mention it?!" Sapphire wailed her arms, yelling at Nomi. [just picture Sapphire as Edward Elric during that XD]

"Eheh it's the thought that counts?" Nomi smiled with his eyes closed, in a awkward way.

Itachi and Sapphire both sighed.

"Well the guardians appear when someone is in danger, so much danger that their life depends on it. But not like falling off a cliff kind of thing more like, falling into Lucifer kind of death." Nomi explained.

"But I was just about to fall into Lucifer, why didn't he appear then?" Sapphire asked.

"He did." Itachi said. "I can't believe you didn't feel that energy change."

"So that's what that was." Sapphire said to herself. "Wait so almost falling into him isn't enough. Maybe I have to fall into him for the Guardians to appear."

"You're talking like you believe in the guardians." Nomi said.

"I never said I did, I'm just taking it as a possibility." Sapphire became defensive.

Randy fell out of mid-air and landed on his stomach.

"Ow!!" He yelled turning over to his back.

Sapphire stared down at Randy. "R-randy."

"Go to hell." He growled to Sapphire, pouncing from the ground and tackling her.

He raised his hand behind his head, rolling his hand into a fist. Before he could do anything, Itachi grabbed his hand, making him stop.

"Stop, you don't know what you're doing." Itachi said pulling Randy off her, holding him in the air.

"You're defending her?" Randy asked in disbelief. "After everything she has done to me; to you?"

"Randy, you have to listen; you don't know what you're talking about." Nomi said.

"Yes I do!" Randy yelled. "She attacked me, she took you. She turned you into McFist, she works for the sorcerer!"

Itachi struck Randy, hard enough to leave a mark on his cheek. The sound of the smack rang through the air, silencing everything around them. "Shut it, Randy. You need to listen."

Randy held his cheek, staring up at Itachi in shock. "Why do you think, your hair is black, instead of its natural purple?"

"Easy, I accidentally absorbed some of Kirito's Demon." Randy answered.

"No you absorbed Allen's demon." Itachi answered.

"But Allen is Lord Raiden's brother, the Misfit of a sealer and a healer." Randy tilted his head.

Sapphire softly placed her hand over her face. "His memories are more jumbled than we thought."

"There is one way to get his memories back to normal." Nomi put his finger on his chin, thinking.

"How?" Itachi asked.

"We need to awaken the Phoenix in him." Nomi answered.

"And how do we do that?" Sapphire asked.

"We have to trigger a powerful memory, something strong enough to bring out the lust for blood within him." Nomi responded.

"Sounds a bit dangerous." Itachi said.

"It is, extremely." Nomi said, as if it were a casual thing to have happen.

"Explain how it's dangerous." Sapphire grabbed Nomi's scarf.

"It could lead to brain damage, or possible death of him or someone around him at the time." Nomi tilted his head slightly.

"Is there any other way to bring his memories back?" Sapphire asked.

"There is." Nomi answered.

"What is it?" Sapphire asked, pulling Nomi's face closer to her's.

"We'd have to seal his memory back up and alter it again. If that doesn't work, we repeat the process, but the chances of it happening is one in a million." Nomi grabbed her wrist in frustration.

Sapphire stared up at him and loosened her grip on his scarf. Randy glared down at Sapphire from Itachi's grip, still hanging by Itachi's fist.

Sapphire looked up at Randy. "To think that when I met you, I would have never thought you would be the ninja. That when I did find out, I still hated you. But the moment you saved my life, you changed the both of us."

Randy growled. "She lies!"

"She's telling the truth!" Itachi yelled at him, sending him into shock.

"I know what I'm talking about, I know the truth!" Randy yelled responding to Itachi's almost threatening tone.

"Just forget it, he's not going to listen." Sapphire said. "If we want a chance to straightening out his memories, we'll have to take him back to Avon."

Nomi nodded. Itachi looked down at Sapphire. "Alright."

"I'm not giving up on this yet; not this soon." Sapphire said, placing her hand on Randy's forehead.
