The sun had began to set, the three men and Sapphire still wandered around the forest trying to find their way out. Itachi carried Randy over his shoulder again; still unconscious.
"The sun will set under the horizon soon, we should probably set up a camp." Itachi said stopping the other two.
"I agree, it's a new moon tonight so it will be exceptionally dark. Lucifer will be making his rounds tonight." M said looking up at the sky. "The new moon represents rebirth, and at birth your destiny is determined. Meaning, our will is weaker than before during the new moon, and the full moon is when it is strongest." M's empty sword holder shook in the wind.
"How do you know all this?" Sapphire asked.
M smiled and put his index finger over his lips. "In time's come, love."
Sapphire glanced over at Itachi, he shrugged it off and lays Randy on the ground.
"Well, I'm going to find some fire wood. Don't want to be getting cold tonight." Itachi said waving as he walked away.
"I'm sure you'll find the perfect amount by the river." M shouted towards Itachi.
"How do you know?" Sapphire asked M.
"You would be surprised in all I know." M looked down at Sapphire.
"Like what?" Sapphire asked.
"I could tell you your future if I wanted to." M said sitting down on the ground.
"You can?" Sapphire followed him, sitting with her legs crossed.
"You bet I can, but I won't." M said as his voice dropped to a serious tone.
"What? You can't tell someone that and not do it." Sapphire said to him. "If you can't actually do it, that's fine. It's impossible to tell the future anyway."
"Ah but I can." M said in his serious tone. "I can tell you when that tree will fall, I can tell you when that flower will blossom. I can tell you almost anything."
"Almost?" Sapphire asked.
"I can't tell you how this world will end, I can't tell you how you will die, and I can't tell you when Lucifer will attack." M narrowed his eyes.
"You can't tell me because you don't know." Sapphire stated.
M nodded his head. "But I can tell you that you are in great danger, Sapphire."
Sapphire felt a slight energy change. It was dark, black energy.
She sprang up, straightening her back still sitting on the ground. M noticed this.
"Is something wrong?" M asked Sapphire.
"Fine." She stated sharply. "Everything is fine."
M began to glare at Sapphire. "I know you're lying Sapphire."
Sapphire shook her head, the energy was becoming stronger. It began to hurt her, but she held herself as if nothing was happening.
"Sapphire, what's wrong?" M became stern.
"Lucifer." Sapphire said to M. "Lucifer said he'll help me."
M's eyes widened. He tackled Sapphire to the ground pinning her.
"Lucifer is here, help me!" Sapphire screamed.
"What happened?" Itachi came running. He saw M on top of Sapphire. "You-"
"Stand back!" M yelled. He placed his hand on her stomach, and like his hand was an illusion he reached into Sapphire. "Gotchya'."
He pulled and a black energy left Sapphire's body. She screamed as he pulled the energy out of her.
