Sapphire sat in a chair in front of a vanity in Elder Hall as one of the maids brushed her hair back into a pony tail. Her hair was still curled and a few sapphires were still left in her hair. She wore a black dress that went down to her knees, was strapless, and fitted her small figure perfectly. A modest dress.

She held a folded up piece of paper in her hand, it was covered in pen scratches, and her tears. It looked like one of those papers you find in the dust. The lines on the paper were faded, and had a slight brown tint to them.

The maid placed a flower in Sapphire's hair.

"There; see how beautiful you look?" The main said, lifting Sapphire's chin towards the mirror.

Sapphire only glanced at the mirror and then looked back down at her hands. The maid ran her ands through Sapphire's pony tail a few times. "Itachi was a great man, so kind, so brave, very loving. You were all he ever talked about while you were gone."

Sapphire didn't say anything.

"You're everything he said; beautiful, strong, head-strong." The maid smiled at Sapphire in the mirror, but Sapphire remained starring at her hands.

Michael walked in the room with Sapphire and the maid. He was holding a wooden box that had the Japanese kanji carved on it of Loyalty, Bravery, and Love. He walked over to Sapphire and handed her the box.

"We read Itachi's will; here's what he left for you." Michael handed Sapphire the ;wooden box.

Michael rested a hand on her shoulder and then slid it off. He gestured the maid to leave the room with him to leave Sapphire alone.

Sapphire opened the box and it was filled with Itachi's things. The first thing on top was a picture of her mom, Itachi, Saito, and herself. Itachi had a big smile on his face, Saito casually grinned with his hands behind his back, her mom held Sapphire as a baby in her arms and had the warmest smile on her face.

She placed the picture on the vanity, and pulled out a necklace that had the Yin-Yang on it, and a red snake like dragon was wrapped around it. The chain was silver. On the back "Our lives are something that we should remember" was engraved.

She pulled the necklace around her neck so that the engraved words would show.

I pulled out his long purple elder cape with the gold "Fighter" kanji on the back. She tied that around her shoulder and wore it herself. And then under the cape she discovered a journal.

She picked up the black journal and opened it. On the first page was "To Sapphire (when I die)".

she wasted no time in turning the page and finding what all Itachi wrote.

"Sapphire, if you're reading this I've probably dies, or am close to dying. I decided to write you this because there's going to be so much I wouldn't have been able to tell you. You have a right to know the things I'm going to tell you in this journal. It might be a lot to take in, but I'm sure you can handle it. Knowing that I wrote this a year before you returned, some of these things you might already know. First things first; if you don't marry Randy, I will haunt you forever. Randy loves you so much, and I know he won't harm you. He will protect you from everything and anything."

Sapphire had to look up for a little it to wipe her tears away so she could read.

"And secondly, my father is still alive and well. And even though you're not his child, he still loved you very much. He's the father you need in your life. He's also were you got your ice powers from. When the Phoenix king over threw him, he captured him and sold him as a slave to the sorcerer. The sorcerer turned him into an animal slave so he couldn't escape. What was it; a hamster, a raccoon? I don't remember exactly. It was some kind of rodent. In the back of this journal there's a crystal made of ice. When you find him pull out the crystal and it will automatically turn him human again.
