I got off of Collin in my shocked state and we both shifted into our human forms unaware of the fighting going on around us.
I had forgotten I was naked and blushed as Collin stared at my body lustfully. I had to admit it I did the same to him.
I quickly snapped out of it and he did too as we both glared at each other.
"This has to be some sort of sick joke." Collin seethed.
"Ditto." I scoffed.
I looked around and saw that fighting had stopped and that all that was left was my rogues.
"Looks like you just got beat Alpha." I said sarcastically with a smirk.
"Would you really kill your own mate for soul ownership of his pack?" Collin asked accusingly.
As he said mate the rogues around me all gasped at the revelation.
"I am pretty heartless." I sneered.
At that his face fell for a split second before it returned to a stone cold glare.
"Take him to the cells with the rest." I said nonchalantly and shifted back into my wolf as he was dragged to the cells.
What are you gonna do to our Mate? My wolf asked curiously.
I could feel how torn she felt. At one end her dominance wanted her own pack and on the other hand she felt okay with being Collins's Luna as long as she was by his side.
I have no clue. But I mean if I hadn't taken over his pack he probably would've rejected me... I replied back.
You don't know that. She said back and I could feel her sad that I spoke bad about my mate.
This was all just so confusing and overwhelming. I quickly ran to the pack house and shifted and grabbed a oversized sweatshirt that had been left on the porch.
"Mathew!!" I called out.
"Coming! Coming!" He called out from upstairs and soon he stomped down the stairs.
"Everything go well at the border?" He asked.
"Yeah he came with about fourty I would say and twenty of those were already killed by the border patrol before we got there. However we didn't get there in time and all the men on border patrol were killed." I stated. "But we were able to kill the rest of his men only five other were killed." I stated. "But, there are complications." I muttered.
"What kind of complications?" He asked as we walked upstairs to Old Alpha Majors office. I shuddered at the memories of it and saw that Matthew had been sorting through his files and what not.
"Well for starters Collin isn't dead." I uttered out with a frown.
"He got away?" He asked skeptically.
"No he's in the cells." I answered.
"Oh so you want him to suffer first?" He smirked.
"Well he's my Mate." I answered with a scoff.
Matthew looked with disbelief.
"The moon goddess sure loves you." He replied sarcastically.
"Let me remind you most of my life sucked not cause of her but because of you rogues." I stated raising an eyebrow. And my fists clenched.
Most days looking at the rogues didn't make me think of my old pack and my parents and my best friend but some days when I looked at the rogues it reminded me of my losses.
Sometimes I wasn't so twisted and hardened. Sometimes I actually had a heart. And right now I felt deeply hurt and angry.
"Get out!" I yelled all of a sudden.
Matthew looked confused at my outburst but reluctantly left.
I can't believe that I could call these rogues my pack and I couldn't believe that I considered Matthew my friend and Beta even though he was one of the rogues that killed off my pack.
What was wrong with me? I was in utter turmoil.
I howled in pain and anger and started to tear apart the office. When I was done I stood in the middle of the room my chest rising and falling rapidly.
I shifted and raced out of the house on all fours of my wolf.
