My wolf was running through the forest and when we turned back to go back to the pack I didn't realize that I was heading straight for the cells. I shifted behind a bush and put on a back t-shirt and jeans. I walked out and looked at the cells contemplating on going down there or not.

I decided that I would but only to eavesdrop on what some of my old pack members we had spared and my mate would say about me and the rogues. I nodded to the the guards and made my way down the stairs and made it close enough to hear them without them seeing me.

"Alpha what's gonna happen to us?" I heard a young child voice say.

"I don't know." He said gruffly. "I informed other packs of our situation but obviously none have come." He muttered.

Hmm... I'd have to increase patrol.

I stepped back up the stairs quietly and walked to the pack house and found Matthew sitting on the couch in the living room watching tv and he looked over at me unsure if he could talk to me or not.

"I overheard my mate saying that he called a bunch of packs telling them if his situation." I said getting down to business.

"Well we'll increase patrol then." He said with a shrug.

"Yeah but soon enough we will be out numbered if all the packs he called respond." I replied.

"So what are you suggesting?" He asked as I sat down in a chair and he turned off the tv.

Why don't you accept him as your mate and stop all this rogue nonsense. All of your rogues could still be in the pack. That could be one of your conditions.

I had to admit my wolfs idea wasn't half bad. But what if Collin didn't accept?

"What did your wolf tell you?" Matthew asked.

"How could you tell I was talking to her?" I asked confused.

"You get this look, like your eyes go hazy." He stated.

"Oh. Well she suggested that I end all this now and accept Collin as my mate and then have him accept all of you guys into the pack." I said.

I watched Matthew thinking this over.

"What if he doesn't accept?" He asked.

"My thoughts exactly." I muttered. "Plus if he does accept I won't have as much control over the pack since I will only be a Luna." I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey it's better than us all getting killed by neighboring packs." He shrugged with a lighthearted laugh.
