Evan didn't think he would get this far. He looks at his right to Craig getting his (electric) guitar on tune. He looks back at Evan, smiling. Evan smiles back taking a deep breath. If you don't understand the situation right now, I'll gladly explain it to you.

Evan and the gang are called The Dreamers. When they were in high school they joined in a contest. Their teachers thought it would be fun to hold a contest for bands only, and the other school bands have to participate. Evan was just an average boy, all alone all day. But he doesn't mind, as long as his earphones are blaring his songs, he's fine. Evan once had a best friend, but betrayed him for a group of assholes. Jonathan, Jonathan Dennis is the most popular boy and lead singer in their school. Evan and Jonathan were the best of friends when they were 10. He was the one to make Evan smile even after his mother's death. He was there when Evan needed someone, but their friendship was ruined when they were in high school and when his 'friends' asked him to hangout with them, even though Evan asked first. He chose his best friend over his new 'friends' which made him mad and yelled at him. At the end Evan end up breaking the friendship and calling him by his real name. Evan usually use his nickname which was Delirious or Del, but if the situation is serious he calls him by his real name. From then he was all alone. Everyone considered him a untalented boy. They always laugh at him for being alone and boring. He knows that, but he never did cut cause his mother told him to never harm himself when she died right in front of him. His dad turned alcoholic when he heard the news from the hospital. When Evan was in high school he started to live on his own, leaving his dad with a note that he left. He works part time after his school and in weekends, working his ass off for him to be able to survive. Anyways, Evan didn't plan to join the contest, cause one, he has no friends and two, he has stage fright. Especially for him to sing in front of thousands of people. But Craig, his best friend, didn't want to accept a no as an answer.

Craig excuses himself from his friends which was Lui,David, Bryce, Moo and Tyler. He stood up from his seat, taking the direction to the boy's restroom. He was about to walk by the music room, but stopped when a piano started playing from inside. He opens the door a little so he can see and hear where the beautiful melody is coming from. His eyes widened when he sees Evan Fong, the 'untalented' boy playing the piano. Evan took a deep breath and opened his mouth,

This is gospel for the fallen ones,
Locked away in permanent slumber.
Assembling their philosophy,
From pieces of broken memories.

Craig closes his eyes listening to the angelic voice of the most bullied person in their school.

Craig was surprised that he can go that high for a man with Adam's apple, and he even forgot why he was here in the first place.

Evan skillfully plays the piano, like he was born to play it. He was closing his eyes so he didn't notice someone was watching him. He stopped playing when he was done, looking down at his hands and sighed. He was about to stand up but a sound of someone clapping, he couldn't. He looks towards the doorway, to see a boy a little taller than him, wearing glasses and dyed green hair.

"I never thought you could sing and play the piano! You're amazing!"  The male complemented while Evan's eyes looks at the ground.

"Thank you."

'No one appreciates it though.' He thought but was cut off.

"Anyways I'm Craig, Craig Thompson."  He introduced and Evan smiles.

"I'm Evan, Evan Fong." They shook hands and Evan didn't know this could form into a wonderful friendship.
