Chapter (8)

It was three AM. Zeynep was half awake. She looked around and didn't find Asu.

Zeynep couldn't wait to go home. The doctor said that the bleeding stopped and her condition was stable so she was going to leave the hospital tomorrow. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She heard the door of the room opening but didn't have the energy to open her eyes. It must be one of the nurses came to check on her vitals.

She opend her eyes a little and found a man standing beside her bed a syringe in hand and about to inject it into the serum bag. She opened her eyes wide but couldn't move. She knew him. He was covering half of his face but she recognized him. He was one of Emir's men.

Tufan saw her awake and immediately put his balm over her mouth muffling her sound. He put his otherfinger over his mouth then slide it a cross his neck telling her to not make any sound or he'll kill her.

Zeynep nodded, telling him that she'll stay silent so he pulled his hand away from her mouth. Tufan was about to inject the mysterious substance but stopped when she touched his arm.

"Please..Please don't do it" Zeynep begged with a weak broken voice.

"I have to do it. I'm sorry. I have orders"

"It's Emir isn't it?"

Tufan didn't reply.. Zeynep closed her eyes tightly tears streaming like a river.

"Please don't kill my baby. Please. I promise.. I promise I'll leave. I'll disappear. You can tell him that I lost the baby. I'll tell everyone that and just disappear. Please don't do this. I promise. I promise.. I won't tell anyone about you.. just don't do it. I'm begging you"

She was gripping his arm tightly.

"Please. Please don't kill my baby"

Tufan took a deep breath and thought about what Asu said. He doesn't have to do it. He was doing all this to find his mother. And he was sure his mother wouldn't want him to kill for her. He put the syringe in his bucket and looked at her.

"You'll tell everyone that you lost the baby. And you'll leave from here and never come back, do you you understand? If you said one small word about me I'll find you and kill you. Understood?"

Zeynep nodded and Tufan turned around and left.

Emir took the news hardly that night. Tufan called him and told him that problem solved and Zeynep had lost the baby. Emir felt relieved and restless at the same time. Never in his life felt such thing. For the second time he killed his own child. He was ruthless man and maybe the worst kind, but deep inside his soul he was just a human. A human who craved to be loved. But he turned out to the worst living human. He was a father who killed his own children.

For the first time that night Emir cried silently in the darkness of his room. He cried for the lost chances. For a soul that could've called him "Baba" someday day. But it's over now. Feeling guilt wasn't his style. Monsters don't feel. They don't regret. 'Cause that's how he saw himself. A monster.

The next day everyone knew that Zeynep had lost the baby only her mother and Tariq and father knew the truth. Asu knew too. After Tufan left her room he saw her and told her that he couldn't do it. Asu took care of everything. She payed for the fake documents and doctors and made sure everyone knew about the miscarriage.

Zeynep's family helped her leave.but before that she visited Kemal for the first time. She apologized to him and told him about what happened. They all sworn to keep her secret. Even Asu.

Zeynep left the city that day not looking back. Runing away from her family. From her mistakes. Form him. She didn't tell anyone about her destination because she didn't know where she's going. She just left with a small travel back and a respectful amount of money Kemal gave her.

A year later Kemal gotten out of prison. And he was hell bent on revenge from Emir. After sometime he recandled his love with Nihan and both decided to investigate Ozan's crime. Looking for some evedance to discriminate him and get rid of Emir but they ended up losing in front of Emir when he shows them the full video if Ozan's crime. Of course with Asu's help.

Later, things became worse. Ozan's mental health became worse and he committed suicide. His father lost his life soon after. And Nihan was so destroyed she blamed Kemal for it. Because he was constantly pushing Ozan to confess his crime and free his sister.

Things between Kemal and Nihan became worse and Kemal married Asu to get her shares but the marriage was more like Emir and Nihan's marriage specially after they found out that Asu is Emir's sister.
