Chapter (6)

Few weeks passed. The Soyderes
visited Kemal every week. Zeynep couldn't go with them 'cause she couldn't look at her brother in the eye knowing what she did. Hussein's condition was much better and he made Tariq promise him to never approach Emir.

Everything was calm until one morning when someone knocked on their door. Tariq opened the door to find Ozan on the other side of the door.

"What the hell are you doing here?"
Tariq said murderously gripping Ozan by the collar.

Fahima and Zeynep went out when they heard the commotion. Fahima tried to get Tariq to let the boy and finally he did.

"Son, what are you doing here? We don't want to see anyone of your family near us"
Fahima said.

"I'm sorry about what happened.  I just wanted to see Zeynep"

Tariq saw red and attacked the poor kid again.

"WHAT DO MEAN 'TO SEE ZEYNEP' HUH? WASN'T ENOUGH WHAT THAT FILTHY MAN DID. YOUR WHOLE FAMILY GOING TO PAY FOR THIS DO YOU HEAR ME" Tariq bunched Ozan and the poy fall on the floor.

Tariq went to hit him again but Zeynep tried to stop him. She gripped her brother but he pushed her. She tripped and fall suddenly she started screaming. She was gripping her belly and back, screaming out of pain.

Her family harried to help her but the pain was so strong she lost conscious.

They hurriedly took her to the hospital. Ozan wanted to follow them but Tariq stopped him. In the hospital they received the most unexpected news.

Zeynep was pregnant.

Apparently her second night with Emir resulted in more than just a heart break. She was having a baby. The whole family was in shock. Not knowing what they supposed to do. Tariq lost his mind and swore to go to Emir and kill him but his mother stopped him telling him that Emir's men will kill him as soon as they see him. Emir had a restriction order Against Tariq, so approaching Emir means death or prison for him. He can't touch him. Zeynep is pregnant with the child of their enemy. The man that destroyed their lives. And they can't do anything about it.

Ozan went back home with a bloody nose. His mother and sister run over to him.

"Ozan. Who did this to you? Who hit you?" His mother asked caressing his face.

"Have you tripped Ozan? Cause I highly doubt you getting into a fight. I'll pay mony to see it" Emir came into the living room and took a set.

Every one ignored him. After what he did to the Soyderes Nihan despised him even more she couldn't even look at his face without feeling disgusted.

Even her mother and father hated him for what he did.Ozan started telling thim what happened and they schooled him for going there.

"You shouldn't have gone there Ozan.. the situation between the families is so sensitive. Please don't do that again" Nihan said while caressing his hair.

"I was worried about Zeynep I just wanted to see her" Ozan said and Emir just rolled his eyes at the kid's stupidity and continued drinking his coffee not paying attention to the Sezins petting their spoiled little brat.

"Nihan We have to go to the hospital. I'm so worried about Zeynep" Ozan said.

"We can't go Ozan. No one will let us see her, She'll be okay. Don't worry"
Emir was pretending to not care about their conversation but he was also curious about what happened to her. Was she sick? But why does he care. Probably she was faking it. He won't spend one more second of his precious time thinking about a lowlife soul.

Next day Nihan went to the hospital to see Zeynep. Luckily she didn't see Fahima. Zeynep was so surprised when she saw her.

"How are feeling now Zeynep? Ozan Told me about what happened" Nihan asked her softly.

"I'm fine" Zeynep felt awkward. 

She didn't know how was she supposed to talk to nihan now. After what happened.

"Zeynep. I wanted to say I'm sorry for everything. It all happened because of me"

"It wasn't your fault....."

"Yes it was. I should have warned you more. I should have told you about what type of man Emir is"

"But you did warn me"

"It wasn't enough obviously.. I should have done something to help you"

"You can do that now"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm pregnant"

Nihan was completely motionless. She was shocked then suddenly she snapped out of it and moved. She sat beside Zeynep on the bed and took her hand.

"Look Zeynep. I don't know what to do to help you but I can tell you this. Don't let Emir know"

"What" Zeynep asked confused.

"Look.. trust me. Emir is a very dangerous man. He'll hurt you and the baby. Please don't let him know. Leave. Leave the city I'll help you.."

"Help her with what?"
Asu was standing by the door looking at Nihan with disapproval.
"What kind of help you can offer Nihan. All you do is destroy lives. First Kemal and now his sister"

"Asu. Don't interfere. I'm talking to Zeynep..."

"Don't.  Don't talk to her. Just leave. Now"

Nihan didn't want to cause troubles, So she left but before that she looked at Zeynep, telling her with her eyes to not forget what they talked about.

Emir was in his office when Tufan called him. He had put him behind Nihan to keep an eye on her. He was afraid she'll go to visit Kemal that day.

Tufan told him that she just left the hospital Zeynep Soydere was admitted into. Emir told him to keep an eye on her the whole day. But before he closes the call he asked him to look for the reason why Zeynep is still at the hospital. Emir didn't know why he wanted to know but he was just curious.

Emir's hand was bleeding. He broke the glass in his hand after Tufan's phone call telling him about Zeynep.

Zeynep is pregnant with his child. It can't be. He won't let something like this happen. The only woman he was going to have children with is Nihan. He won't let any other woman bear his child. Let alone the sister of his enemy.

No. that has to end immediately. In a moment of rage he took his phone and called Tufan.

"End it. Tonight"
