This song is about Troye, and where he grew up, but I think of where I'm from when I hear it. When I hear this, I think of the sunset I saw in the plane, the one I described earlier. I think of the long summer nights there. I think of my childhood, growing up in the streets of a little town in Friesland. I think of sitting at the table with a plate of my moms potatoes, vegetables and meat. I think of the all the little canals, of biking through the little brick streets. This song is so nostalgic for me. These all are, but this one is up there. I think of playing with the dogs in my tante's back yard. I think of the canal behind her house. I think of the very same canal, behind the house I was born in. I think of being in my beppe's backyard. The neighbors are loud, but they're kids. They're having fun, their lives are carefree. The countryside, is so beautiful. I think of going to my Omke's house, and the canal behind their house. I miss it, and I'm excited to go back.
