Medley Spring's POV

''Your highness, are you sure you want to send a search party to look for princess Mina?'' Cove asks, for the 3rd and last time. I looked everywhere for Mina for the past hour, and she hasn't been found anywhere. I even looked in her favorite spot in the whole kingdom. The attic was empty. ''Y-Yes Cove. I need to send a search party looking for her. She's gone missing.'' I cry, grabbing onto his collar. Cove widen his eyes and slowly backs away from me, nodding. He quickly dashes out of my room and slams the door closed.

Such a ''respectful'' and ''strong'' knight eh? He's failed his job of protecting me 6 times already, and he just slammed the door. ''I need to get a new guard, really soon, before I end up dead on the floor.'' I mutter to myself, checking off another bullet point on my to-do list. Whatever, I have better things to worry about. Mina Springs, the kind hearted and mysterious sister I have, was gone missing. I can't believe that I actually let Cruz take care of her for the day.

A sudden thought popped in my head and I quickly got off my bed. I combed my hair because mom taught me that appearance always mattered. I ran down the royal hall and stair way. Where would mama and papa be? I ran as fast as my little feet could take me. Indeed, both of my parents were sitting on their thrones, having Rose Tea. ''Mama, Papa!'' I cried, running over to them.

They both looked down at me, and my mother sent me a look full of disapproval as she gazed down at the tangled lace at the bottom of my dress. ''I-I think I know where Mina is!'' I beamed, as 2 maids rushed over to me and untangled my dress. They both took a glance at each other and turned their look to me. ''Where would that be, Medley? I need to know, so I can alert the search party.'' Father demanded with concern. I shake my head,''You can't let the search party know. I can be the only person going, she doesn't let anyone besides Cruz and I in.''

''We're doing this so you are alive for the next few years, darling. It might not be safe, she could be kidnapped.'' Mother explained as she continued to stare at my dirty white laced dress. ''No! She won't let you guys in, I know she won't. Trust me, I'll be fine. May I go alone?'' I plead with a frown. Both of my parents take a glance at each other, and my mother looks back at me. ''Are you sure, you can take care of yourself?'' She repeats.

I nod frantically, completely sure of my decision. ''Alright, my dear. You can go, but if you need medical help or any help in general, please call one of us. We're here for you, mhm?'' Mother smiles. As the last words fall out of mother's mouth, the throne room door slams open and Mina stood at the door, happily. ''Hey Medley, Mother, and Father. I'm sorry about skipping lunch today, my little swim ended up taking longer then I thought it would.'' She chirps, with a small smile lurking on her face.

We all stare at her, completely astonished that she just came through the entrance of our palace, with no hesitation, and with no clue with how worried we were. ''Is something on my face?'' She nervously laughs, as she puts a hand on her cheek. I immediately run to her and tackle her into a hug. ''Mina, where in the world have you been? I've been worried so much, I even got a search party for look for you.'' I cry, running a hand through her hair and petting it.

''I went for a small swim, err, around the kingdom, I guess I got distracted." Mina beams, and slips out of my grasp quickly. I watch her as she covers half of her face with her hair, and leave the room. "Is she okay? Why did she just leave in a hurry?" Father asks, questioning her. I shrug and quickly give my parents a peck on the cheek. They gladly hug me and dismiss me to my room, once again.

I immediately headed towards my left, where Mina's room was. Her door was creaked open a little bit, and I took that chance to spy on her. Mina was sitting by her bed, with her head buried in his arms. I wasn't sure if she was tearing up or she was tired, and needed a rest. My first instinct was to come in and comfort her. I made my way over to her and sat besides her. "Are you tired?" I ask with curiosity.

Mina looks up, and her eyes were red and puffy. She had tears running down her cheek as she sighed. "Yes, tired of his lies." She shakes her head.

I don't have much to say, really. Here's your post, and merry Christmas readers. I don't really celebrate Christmas, like I don't really put up a tree every year and decorate my house full of winter decor. What did you guys get for Christmas?

I'll post soon, spend your holidays with family!

Sloppy corgi kisses,
Angelina.
