Flashback
I sat on my mother's thigh for thirty minutes, now knowing the reality of getting married and she kept patting my back gently, my sisters were there too all crying including Beelarh and I don't even know why she's crying. I had received my father's blessings briefly and he hurriedly left the house with red eyes. Nobody could talk me into leaving, I saw my mother in-law sat beside me, lifting my head and she talked words of encouragement and assurance to me, I finally gave in, wiping my mother's tears and begging her not to cry anymore that I was getting married not dying and she nodded with a smile. I was taken to Kabeer's grandmother and she advised me vividly about what marriage is all about and I nodded in respect, she then gave me a red gown to change into and I did, she then washed my feet with cold water and prayed for me. Bidding everyone a farewell, I hugged my sisters and everyone else and then the journey to my new home began. Kabeer was giving me a pity face and I smiled weakly, our ride was comfortably silent and I enjoyed it. We briefly stopped at Kano where I was introduced to his other relatives and they all warmly welcomed me and we left for our flight in Abuja. We arrived at Abuja by 9:30pm and I was exhausted, some of his friends were already there at the airport and they all whistled, welcoming us warmly and I just kept smiling, they dropped us at his mansion and they zoomed off. To be honest it's a really big house but I don't really have the time to admire and with a 'Bismillah' we opened our new home stepping in with our right foot, I asked about my room and I dashed in immediately
