"yes Satina that would be wonderful if you dont mind." Devlin was obviously quite surprised at her volunteering to stay behind and help. the tailor watched the love birds leave, working away at the fit but otherwise ignoring them and not saying a word.

"your princess Acacia's diar wolf." Satina said looking him over with the precision of a doctor. it made him uncomfortable for a moment and felt like a piece of dirt she would easily pass over.

"yes and whom may be?" Dakota said turning to look at her better and getting a vicious prick from the tailor silently telling him to not move but also behave like a human not a wolf.

"Satina Darknight. Devlin's true blood sister." she said quite nobly. she didn't have to try and be noble, the air of it clung to her in every action she did.

"did you notice yours and your brothers name are not that far off from Satan and Devil." Dakota said slowly letting out his breath when she smiled. she reminded him of the Mona Lisa.

"our mother thought of us as creatures of the devil for a very long time and nicknamed us Devlin and Satina. unfortunetly it stuck better than our real names as we got older. Michiel and Sara. when he was changed he chose his nickname over his real and so did i to forget the past." flashes of emotion crossed her face as she said it.their was a deeper emotion buried but after knowing many women like her, he chose to let it go. the tailor held up two pieces of fabric, both equally hideous to Dakota. pondering over the two for a moment Satina chose the lesser hideous one to the right. he was thankful because he would have been out the door in moments if he had to chose.

"none of my brothers like fittings at all so they enjoy using the same tailors and seamstresses, less of them. most of the men dont so they enjoy letting the women shop for gowns and have fittings with the simple request of dont make us have fittings too. we love to take advantage of it." if she kept smiling like that he thought he might have a problem. she was truly nothing like the other women in his life, she was born without expectations or legacy to up hold like he had. she had a air of nobility that suited her but it was learned not bred into her. at moments she still had a gruffness to her manners.

"i dont blame them." Dakota grumbled as the two of them slid one jacket off of him to exchange it with another while he tried to avoid getting a pin stuck into him on the way off.

"my brother quite obviously plans to make her his bride. this jacket would be appropriate for those occasions. the standard black, white and then we shall require one for the forestry ball, green and gold if you dont mind. this will be the last one for today though. james has asked if you'll go ridding with him, that was why i originally came here." turning regal once again, the tailor seemed to suddenly know how and where to pin. handing Dakota his own clothes back to him Satina had suddenly disappeared. slipping the dreadful fine clothes off and into his own much simpler clothes he sighed from the familiarity of them. turning to pick up his own jacket off the chair where his clothes had been layed out for him, he nearly knocked Satina off her feet by accident.

grabbing her to keep her from falling she blushed. whispering a breathless thank you and readjusting her skirt. once she had gotten it back to the way she wanted it and her face was less rosy and she began to lead him out to the stables. she seemed to glide along the ground, making no noise at all except the rusling of her skirt. if he looked now he thought with no dought that her cheeks would still be red. it was rather adorable too.

"are you going to be coming with us?" Dakota asked as they neared the stables. having never ridden a horse in his life he didnt want to make a fool of himself as well as her continued silence was getting to him.

"no i dont ride with my brother unless forced." Satina said almost gleefully. with a sigh of relief Dakota's problem dwindled down to only james. as they stepped through the stable doors the smell of manure hit him hard. james was playing ferrier to a massive red through breed.

"merci james." Satina said walking straight to the horse and pulling out an apple from no where. the horse took it easily and showed his thanks to her. obviously having had enough the horse kicked james with his hins legs and sent him flying into a stall with hay and oats flying everywhere. he looked completely unprovoked but Dakota figured it had something to do with Satina.

"good red. kick the evil ferrier." Satina smiled picking up a brush. stomping out of the stall james looked anything but happy with Satina as he brushed oats out of his hair and hay from his clothes.

"your horse is stubborn and dangerous Satina." he said cautiously avoiding the hind legs of the horse while looking like he was in pain which was a surprise to Dakota as he learned something new about the vampire.

"im quite sorry Dakota but after that last kick I'm not up to going for a ride but i would like to go for a walk on the grounds." james grunted as he felt his ribs and took off the heavy apron he had on.

"okay." Dakota sighed with relief again. now he didnt have to face the horses or to try to ride one. wolves were not meant to be on one.

"james if you just brush him once and a while or give him an apple he wont want to kick you. Dakota come show him please." Satian asked holding the brush out for him to take. the horse looked welcoming enough even if it could kill him not like them. taking the brush from her nervously she directed him how to approach and brush the horse. surprisingly the horse seemed to like it and moved to show him where to brush. this was a first with a horse. normally they hated wolves.

"look Dev. your sister the miracle worker." Acacia said surprising everyone as she floated in.

"Acacia enough with the floating." Dakota nearly growled beside the horse.

"oops sorry its just hard not too. you finished early though, wonderful." Acacia guiltily said as her feet dipped onto the cobble stone. Devlin lazily walked into the stabled closing the door behind him.

"we have business to discuss, Satina you are welcome to stay if you choose or leave, like i have told you before it you chose to stay you are bound. if you leave you will have no part." moving aside for her to leave Devlin was intrigued when she sat down next to Acacia who was sitting on a bale or two of hay observing the whole thing.

"are you sure Sara?" Devlin asked worry written all over his face. she was obviously predictacble and now she wasnt being which made him jumpy.

"are you sure Michiel that you know me?" she shot back as she arranged her skirt for a long wait. unacustom still to the long dresses and old styles of the vampires Acacia watched her closely taking note of how she made it look natural and not at the same time, oblivious to Devlin's gawking at his sisters audacity. shaking his head he turned and closed the doors to the barn, bolting them. looking up suddenly Acacia smiled and the sound of three sets of littler feet running towards the ladder sounded overhead. climbing down the ladder was two boys about nine or ten and a girl about nine for sure. she was different than the two boys in more than just  gender. it was obvious to Acacia and Dakota that the girl was probably orphaned and taken in by the ferrier's wife. she was know to do it.
