Cherry's POV
"Mom? Dad?" I shouted. Panic filled my chest. Scared I kept going, walking down path after path. If I wasn't so scared and alone this would be a relaxing place. After awhile, I went from a fast walk to slow and small steps.
"Hello?!" I shouted once more. Then I saw it. A trail of blood lead a long trail into more of this forest. I didn't want to go in further because I was afraid of getting lost but now for my mom and dad I step into the forest with a shakey breath. As I step in I look around. A faint sound reaches my ears and I turn my head to it. Out of nowhere, I am struck with a heavy object. I hit the ground like a sack of potatoes. And my vision slowly fades into blackness.
