Ashton's POV

*three hours later*
"Ash, I don't like this." My girlfriend, Vicky, says in a whiney tone.
"Honey, it's fine. I'm here. And besides there's nothing scary about a cherry blossom forest."
"Yeah but...what if something bad happens and we get lost?"
"Well, I'll go then. Alone. How about that?" I look down at her. She's holding onto my arm like a scared child.
"Will you come back?" She asks.
"Of course." I respond.
"Okay. I believe you." She pecks my cheek and I head in.
                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Walking down a path, I get a sudden chill down my spine.
"Hello?" I say on instinct.
"Help." A tiny voice pleads.
"Where are you?" I start walking to the voice.
"O-over here." A tiny hand raises up and I then find it's a girl. Laying, proped on one of the trees. I quickly rush over.
"Hey. Hey. Um. Are you hurt?" I ask, panic rushing through me. She nods. And turns her head to reveal a huge gash on the side of her head. Then she lifts her right arm up to show me dozens and dozens of cuts, bruises and scrapes.
"Who did this to you?" I ask, worried about her health. She must have been here a long while. Her face is dirty, her arms and legs are basically skin and bones.
"I-I don't remember." She looks into my eyes, tears brimming hers.
"Hey, hey, hey, calm down it's okay." I coo to her. She suddenly shakes her head rapidly.
"N-no, it's not. They're dead. THEY'RE DEAD!" She starts shaking and tears finally fall down her slender cheeks.
"Who?" I ask.
"My...M-my...i can't even remember who." More tears fall down her eyes.
"Well, right now I have to call 911. You're bleeding and so skinny." I tell her. I dig out my phone and dial 911. I tell them about this girl and the location. Then I hang up.
"They'll be here in 30 minutes. Okay? Can you tell me your name?" I should know better to ask her more questions but I couldn't stop myself.
"I'm-I'm..i don't know that either." She looks down with a deep frown.
"That's okay. I'll call you Cherry Blossom until you remember okay? I have to tell the police something." She nods slightly. She tries to stand but I push her back down.
"Stay still. I can see there's a nasty wound on both your legs." I look at her legs and see a huge gash from the top of her foot to her knee. I shutter alittle at the thought of her being alone for a long time.
After a while, the EMT come and take her to the hospital. I follow in my truck with my confused girlfriend in the passenger.
"Why'd we come out there again?" I ask her after I stop at a stop light.
"We wanted to do something together? Why?" Her voice is full of confusion.
"Just curious I guess." I shrug.
"Oh. Okay. I'm glad I was here to solve your curiosity. Now can you solve mine by telling me what's going on?"
"I heard a whimper and followed it to a very hurt girl. She was pale and sickly like she was there for a while. And she had nasty cuts, bruises, and gashes like she fought someone or something and lost. And they left her there to die." I explained the best I could the situation. But I couldn't help but wonder if this was a accident or was this planned?
