She is forgotten.
Forgotten under the stairs when playing hide and seek at a young age.
Forgotten in the closet when she found out she was gay.
Forgotten on her birthday when no one ever says it.
When will she see that no one ever means it?
"I love you" "I miss you" it all means the same. Nobody ever cared for her, it's all a silly game.
They screw with her and ruin her because no one ever wanted her ; she doesn't play the game cause they never see what's truly in her.
No one ever cared; no one ever will.
If they cant even take two seconds to ask how her day was, do they even matter? Yes.
But they "forgot." That's their excuse.
And then she sits there and cries.
Cause no one cares about the depressed little girl, the oppressed young teen, the obsessed with happiness and can't seem to grasp her final realisation- she doesnt matter and no one will love her, no one will see her achieving her dream, show up at concerts to tell her they love her. Show up when she needs them most because she doesnt matter. 'Cause she's gone.
They always looking her in the eye and say they love her. But it doesn't matter cause she never once felt happier except she knows.
Two days later they will forget she exists while she goes back to being a trophy on the wall for everyone to see and never to touch.
Nobody cares, for her. Nobody loves, her.
She collects dust while people use the excuse "It was just because-"
She knows better. She saw their faces when she talked, she exclaimed rightfully as they all walked. She wanted loyalty when everyone ignored. She wanted hope when everyone left her poor.
She sits and cries and breaks down.
No one ever wanted her.
Everyone forgot her.
But let me ask you one little question; how can you forget someone you never really remembered?
