The yelling at each other, constantly bringing the other down.
She corrupts her lungs with smoke and he chokes her the way down, making the guilt and sorrow rise.
A cry of an infant, the internal screaming of their girl, nothing stops the way he brings her down. Nothing stops her from ruining her life.
Having the dealing of this life. Bringing out the worst in all of us, never truly showing love.
Useless "i love you"'s, the helpless night of crying, and the smoke; god it smells. Listening to both of them die in a corrupted love.
It ruins someone just to watch. But it teaches you lessons.
We are broken and never once helped.
He watches her as she cries, and watches the daughter break down.
He never once stops, just says "stop"
Guilt tripping his love and himself into feeling the pity.
Never once looking around seeing all the destruction he's caused.
The depression all of his bearings hold.
The anxiety flashing from his second child as he yells.
His oldest gone because she could never stand this.
His youngest crying, not understanding why his parents hate each other.
We can not escape.
We can not leave.
We are trapped in a guilt wrapped blanket with a never ending turn.
Feet on burning coals and staying too long breaks someones skin and ruins them.
She knows she can leave. She knows shes not the youngest anymore. She knows she must help.
But god damn is she scared.
Even the god she prayed to every night even though she knows he can't help.
But all she knows, is she doesn't want to be here anymore.
All while the only way out is with the bearing of death.
And maybe one day she'll see a smile on her way down.
