Luhan tossed around relentlessly on their small bed. He couldn't sleep anymore and he felt sorry that he had accidentally woke up Heeji a couple of times.
"Its four fucking am, Lu. What's your problem?" She grumbled in her sleep before burying her face again on Luhan's shoulder. "Sorry Heeji, go to sleep darling" He said softly and encased her in his arms.
Heeji grumbled and sighed before falling back asleep again. Luhan smiled at Heeji's small and cute frame yet, he knew she was more than that. Slowly, he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
Morning soon came and rays of light slowly lit the room in a warm glow. Heeji snored softly while Luhan watched her every movement. How her fringe would gently fall on her face, the steady rise and fall of her chest. Her fingers playing with his shirt's buttons. Every single movment.
A few more minutes later, the sleeping figure stretched its arms before completely opening her eyes. "Morning lu" she greeted and smiled warmly. "Morning darling" He greeted and smiled back.
Heeji repeatedly yawned and stretched before sitting up. "Let's get moving" She said but was cut of by Luhan's grumble. "Five minutes" He complained and pulled her back to the bed- earning a shriek from her. Heeji just giggled at his behavior but nonetheless wrapped her arms around him.
"We need to buy breakfast" She murmed onto his shirt- the words coming out muffled. "I didn't understand you so go to sleep" he instructed before burrying his face in her hair and snoring softly, sleep finally entering his mind.
"This man" Heeji smiled and sighed as she carefully played with his messed hair. She moves her head down to leave a kiss on his forehead. It was the third day of the week and she tried to plan out how she and he would get any more means to live.
She just stole a pack of bread the first day of the week and they still had five pieces left. Food was a check. Yet, the light above them would flicker everynight. They needed money if they wanted to continue having electricity and a roof above their head.
Carefully, she escapes the warm hug of Luhan before proceeding to get ready for the day ahead. She wore here worn out boots, tank top and shorts. She tied her hair into two seperate braids and twisted both up into a bun behind her head.
She looks back at Luhan's figure once more before finally leaving and entering reality once more. Smoke immediately greeted her and she pulled up her scarf up to her nose. Yes, their city had become much better ever since the wall came down but decades of poverty still remained.
Old cars moved along the new ones, letting out dark smoke that colored the small, poor houses. She walks among the crowd, eyes wide open trying to find an opportunity to dig her hand inside the bags of anyone not paying attention.
She continued her job, pickpocketing some stupid and unattentive citizens. She keeps looking around for more possible prey. For a moment, she couldn't find anyone else not until she saw a woman checking out freshly picked apples by the stall and leaving her pouch - seemingly filled with coins - unattended.
Quickly she moved and when she was just a few centimeters away from the pirze, a hand shot out to grab her wrist. Immediately by reflex, she swings out her arm to try and land a punch on the unknown man's face but he was quicker than she could've imagined.
He grabs her other arm and immediately turns her around to lock her in a position nobody could possibly escape. She immediately knew she had messed with the wrong people. Fear soon replaces her brave soul and she cranes her neck just a little to see who held her captive.
Holy Hell he was gorgeous. His jawline perfect and cheekbones prominent. His eyes held a calm yet, raging storm. His lips pursed into a thin line as he examined her. The passerbys looked at them weirdly but she couldn't care less.
"Minjun" A woman's voice suddenly whispered and reluctantly, the man slowly let her go but he still held her firmly. "Please let me go" Heeji pleaded and looked to the woman beside the man, Minjun, as if asking for help.
The strange woman looked at the purse she was holding and was trying to make a wise desicion right then and there. "I'll give you three pieces of gold coins if you can find us a shelter for five days" the woman finally spoke and Heeji's mouth dropped open and looked towards Minjun to look if what she heard was right yet, the man held no expression.
"Anywhere?" She cautiously asked. The woman nodded. "Do we have a deal?" The woman raised her hand up for a handshake.
"Its a deal" Heeji decided and took the handshake.
Three gold coins. Three fucking gold coins! It was enough to last them for a month in the damned city with food and electricity paid. Whoever she had just messed with were definitely not ordinary citizens.
Rushed, she opened the door to their home and ran straight to Luhan's sleeping figure. "Wake up darling" she shook him and Luhan's eyes flew open. His view immediately landed to the door of their small shanty were he saw two unfamiliar figures.
He looked at Heeji for some sort of explanation so she pulled him to the far corner of the room to explain everything.
The two strangers on the other hand were frozen in their places aa they examined the man inside the shanty as well. The woman's heart swelled with happiness but she tried to not keep herself controlled.
After a few more minutes Heeji and Luhan walked towards them both. "Sorry, this is all that we can offer to both of you" He gestured to the four walls of the home and explained. "It will do us just fine, right sweetheart?" The woman nodded and smiled. For some odd reason, Luhan felt his heart skip a beat when his eyes landed on the woman but he shook his head.
"I'm Heeji and this is my friend Luhan" Heeji smiled and at the same time she and Luhan bowed. Eunsook cleared her throat and tried to find her voice. "I am Minjun and this is my fiancé, Eunsook" Minjun spoke and Eunsook smiled at the two.
Can life possibly get anymore twisted?
Merry Christmas to all!! 🎄🎄❤️❤️
