"Please make it work" Heeji prayed silently while waiting. She waited there, sitting on the large couch that was placed infront of a fireplace.
She thanked that too. The skies darkened as soon as they entered the mansion and rain started pouring heavily after that.
She sat there, sat in every other position possible as time went by slowly. An hour passed after the other. Her fingers almost numbed, the heat not enough to keep her warm and her nervousness on why they were taking so long kept her on edge.
"What's going on?" she asked quietly to herself. Debating on wether she should enter the restricted room or stay put. Yet, it looked like she didn't need to do any of those.
As thunder cracked, the two big doors of the restricted room were pushed open, three men coming in at once. "Get her!" One of them shouted as the other two chraged towards Heeji.
"What the hell!" She screamed as one of the men successfully grabbed her. "Let me go you asshole!" she cursed at him, trying to twist her body in a angle she was able to reach her secret pocket knife, slicing the man's throat.
Blood spilled everywhere as the man went down choking his own blood. Heeji fell as well but not a few seconds after, was back on her feet.
"Give up, Heeji. You two won't make it out of here"
Smirking, Mingxao entered the room, looking a quick second at one of his men who was slowly dying on choking his own blood.
"Bloody hell, Mingxao, we had a deal. Where is Luhan?" Heeji spat at him, standing on her feet and getting ready to attack once more.
"Luhan shall stay with us for a while. Why don't you stay to? Besides, you both can't get out of here"
"We'll see about that"
Heeji smirked before quickly turning on her heels and heading full sprint towards the window.
Immediately realizing the situation, his men acted but they were to late.
As Heeji jumped and tucked herself mid-air, her body collided with the glass, shattering it.
"We won't be able to escape, but I can and I'll come back for you"
She promised herself as she let herself fall and hit the surface of the river, letting herself drown and sink deep.

"Where the hell could they be?" Eunsook asked Minjun worriedly. It had been five hours from the moment they were last heard of and the promised time they would come back was in an hour or two.
"I'll go look after them, you stay here" Minjun suggested but Eunsook grabbed his sleeve and shook her head. "No. We're going together. Who knows what may happen if we separate"
Minjun bit his lip. She did have a point but- "It's still too dangerous" he replied, shaking his head as well.
"Well what do we do now?" She asked but Minjun just sat on the ground outside the shanty.
"I guess we just wait"

They waited. Five hours that became six were later on ten hours of waiting.
The skies had darkened almost an hour ago but still no sight of the two figures that were missing.
"They're okay right? That maybe they just went somewhere else too?" Eunsook tried to convince herself, but her heart wouldn't stop on bothering her. Telling her something was very wrong.
Soon enough, all their questions was answered when the door of the shanty was busted open and Minjun immediately took stance. Yet, it was only Heeji-
who looked like a total wreck.
Her clothes were damp and sticky, traces of blood still visible. Her hair was whipped into a messy, wet ponytail as her shorts were ripped appart. Blood also slowly trickled down her skin from her wounds that were still open due to the glass shards.
"Goodness!" Eunsook gasped in shock as her hand immediately grabbed the first-aid kit but Heeji stopped her, looking at her dead in the eye.
"Pack all of your things now, my wounds can wait, but first off, we need to get out of here"
Heeji nodded towards Minjun who didn't waste any second loading himself with weapons.
Eunsook quickly packed their things too, shouting over the loud crack of thunder, "What happened?" she asked but Heeji kept her lips shut.
"Later about that, we need to get out of here first. Where do we go?" Heeji asked worriedly while Minjun only looked at Eunsook who sighed.
"Looks like we're going home."
