I awoke once the car stopped. It jolted back a bit as it went to park. A hand gentally shook my sholder, as Ruki spoke silently. "Lilly, Lilly wake up" he said, trying to keep his voice down. I moaned a bit as I started to snap out of it. I wasn't really tired anymore, but my head still hurt. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, as I looked up at Ruki. "We're at the safe spot now. You can sleep in there" he said as he held out his hand, trying to help me up. I sat up, instantly feeling the dizzyness in my head, and a sick feeling in my stomach. I held my head as I moaned, finishing up rubbing my eyes. Ruki didn't give me a choice on walking or not. "Should I help her walk?" Yuma asked silently. Ruki looked at him as he huffed. "I don't think she can, so I'm caring her." Instantly, he picked me up and carried me out of the car, and into what looked like a basement. He walked down the cement steps carefully, trying not to drop me on the way down. Once we were at the bottom of the stairs, he walked into a giant room, that was filled with beds and couches. The walls were gray, with black ashes stained all over the place. It had no windows in the room at all, but a couple holes sat through the top of the room. By the looks of it, the wholes were through the whole top. In the places where it didn't have holes, were little peaks of rocks that dripped with water when it rained. The room was almost pitch black and silent, rain now started to hit the top, then seep through the holes. Lightning was lighting up the entire place through the top of the cave. When it flashed, the room would flash with a blue glow, adding a creepy effect to the place.
Ruki carried me to the far corner of the room, where it was dark and away from everyone. The only thing in the corner was a good sized couch with a couple of pillows and a blanket, already in place. The couch was all ripped up and old, but still had it's cushions. My eyes bulged out of my head when I instantly thought of it being cold. "I'm going to freeze to death" I thought myself as we got closer. I didn't fight him, to see what he would do. He lied me down, making sure my head was comfortable enough to rest. Then he pulled the blanket on me and made sure it was not too tight. He curved the blanket over me, making a big dome, trying to keep the warmth in it. "There" he whispered to himself, as he sighed. He looked me over one last time, before doing anything else. "How you feeling?" he asked, as he bent down towards me. I yawned as I looked up at him. "Tired" I mumbled as I closed my eyes, trying to rest. Ruki nodded as he walked away from the couch, trying to figure out what to do.
A few minutes after, the Sakamaki's and Yui walked into the room. I closed my eyes, feeling the headache get stronger as time went by. Resting on the couch and the dark room helped majorly. I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I heard someone run, then lunge at something. "Kanato, down" Ayato said, as he pulled his brother off Ruki. "Sorry, we needed a leash for him" he said, as he lied his brother down. Kanato panted as he lied on the ground and turned on his back. Then he liked at Ayato as he barked, wanting him to scratch his stomach. Ruki continued to look at Kanato in shock then turned to Reiji. "What just happened?" he asked Reiji in confusion. Reiji pressed his hand to his mouth as he spoke. "Told you he was acting like a dog" he said sternly. I heard running as one of the boys jumped on my leg, making me jolt up in pain. "Woof" Kanato said as he started panting again. I looked at him in confusion, feeling a little sickly from my head. Subaru walked up to him in anger. "Off boy" he said, as Kanato jumped off and lied in front of the couch. Subaru then sat in front of me, as he huffed. "How you feeling, babe?" he asked as he started to rub my head. "It hurts" I said as I closed my eyes. I looked up at Subaru as I continued to get tired. "Can you lay with me?" I asked him, but knowing him, he wasn't that type of guy. Subaru nodded as he huffed. He helped me make room for him, as he sat lied down, putting my head on the side of him. Finally, he started rubbing my head, as I relaxed. It felt a little weird at first, seeing how most of the times he refused to lay down. But this was a different time. He knew I was hurt, and he wanted to help as much as he could.
I felt protected at that point, so I ended up falling asleep. "I'm so tired" I said with a yawn. Subaru shifted as he spoke. "Ruki, can I allow her to fall asleep?" he yelled, making me cringe in pain. No reply at first, then he yelled. "No, keep her up for now" Ruki yelled back, as he went to talk with someone. I guessed it was Reiji. I closed my eyes as he shook me awake. "No Lilly, stay up and talk with me" he said, loud enough that I couldn't fall asleep to it. "But i'm tired" I complained. Subaru huffed as he shifted. "I know, but you got to keep our conversation going" he said, as he kissed my forehead. "I'm not liking this" I said with a yawn. I felt a hand around my waist and his head on mine. "I know, but you got to stay up right now. Ok?" I mumbled as I sighed again. Subaru moved to look over at the others as he huffed.
I started to fall asleep again as I yawned. Once again, Subaru shook me awake as he spoke. "Lilly, you got to stay up with me" he said in a upsetting tone. I looked over, seeing Kanato panting in my face. He put his hands on the edge of the couch, as he bent towards me. Before he reached me, Subaru blocked him with his arm. "Down boy" he said, pushing Kanato off. Kanato looked at Subaru as he growled a bit. Subaru looked at him aggravated. "GO LAY DOWN, KANATO!" he yelled, making my head pound. I flinched in pain, as a hand covered my eyes. "Sorry Lilly" he said in a soft voice. "It's... fine" I mumbled, as I sighed in pain. Kanato sniffed his hand, as he brushed against it. "Woof" he said, happily. Subaru huffed, getting angry with him. "Kanato, go lay down" he said, trying not to yell. Finally, I heard a voice off in the distance. "Kanato, come here" Yui said in a quiet tone, but loud enough to hear her. "Woof" Kanato said as he ran over to her, and curled up in a ball. Yui got down next to him as she whipped her hand over his stomach. I moaned as I watched them.
Reiji ran over towards us, after he was done talking with Ruki. "So the plan is to get some reset for now. Ayato's trying to handle Kanato at the other end of the room. Were planning to be here a while, so both of you, get some rest" he said silently. I felt relived as I sighed, as I started to relax. Reiji started to walk away as Subaru stopped him. "It's ok for Lilly?" Subaru asked, with worry in his voice. Reiji huffed as he looked at me. "I guess so. It might help with the pain" he said as he walked away. I yawned, trying to ignore the pain in my head. Subaru brushed up lightly as he whispered. "You can sleep if you like" he said, again in a worried voice. I yawned as I settled myself into him, and fell asleep right off.
