Protectors 3: Wolves

Lilly's POV

I continued running in the woods, down this dirt road which was big enough for a velical. The road came out to a pond, with fish jumping in and out of the water.  The trees swayed in the wind, as they brushed one another, making their colored leaves fall off their branches, drifting in the wind.  The grass was long, tangling my ankles up in them gentally, making it harder for me to move. I started to walk on all fours now, completley loosing the human side of me.  I couldn't talk, just bark and howl. I walked over to a rock as I sat on it, and looked up at the sky.  The moon was a yellow cressent, with shining white dots spread around it. The sky lit up a dark blueish black in the background.  I looked at the moon as it was growing fuller, and turning red by the minute. I studied it in silence as I heard movement behind me. I didn't want to look back, just in case it was one of the boys. I couldn't talk to them at all, even if I could verbaly.  Finally, another came up as I heard a voice.  "Your turning more into a wolf" a scratchy voice, said in a low tone. I turned around as I noticed two guys stainding before me.  One had a eye patch, and the other looked like he was bundled up.  They were both the same height, and they also looked the same as well. In the distance, sounds of cars pulled up and squealed behind me, but I ignored them.  I was too focused on the two strangers.

Doors to the velicals opened up as someone yelled.  "Lilly, don't go near them!" Subaru yelled, as the sound of feet rushing filled the air. I kept my focus on the two, as the one with the eye patch held out his hand. "Come here, girl" he said sweetly, as he crouched towards me.  I crawled foreward as I sniffed his hand.  "Lilly, don't go near them" Ruki yelled, trying to get my attention, but it didn't work.  I continued to sniff the strangers as he spoke.  "That's a good girl" he said but he got interupted by the yelling of boys.  "Lilly, no" Subaru yelled as he tried to rush up but was surrounded by other wolves.  The wolves growled at them, as they lunched trying to attack them.   Kanato got out of the circle as he trotted up, and sat next to me at the two's feet. "Kanato" Ayato yelled, as he dodged one of the wolves. Kanato did nothing except for looking back at the group and then up at the strangers.  "Lilly" Ruki yelled as he broke from the group and headed our way, but was cut off by a few of the wolves.  I turned my head to look back at them, as I started to stand up on just my legs again.

There was about four of them, and more joining.  They got in a huge circle as they surrounded Ruki, trapping him so he wouldn't run.  They were growling and mean, looking at Ruki in hunger, with their orange eyes, locked on Ruki.  Yuma turned around as he yelled.  "RUKI!" he yelled as the wolves jumped on him, and bit his chest, right in the rib.  Blood spurted out of Ruki as he fainted and fell to the ground, with wolves chewing in his legs. I looked at Ruki as my eyes grew huge, and a tear fell from my eyes. I was started to cry heavily as I looked at my brother, lying there on the ground, not moving.  Still as can be. I shut my eyes, as I felt my anger rage inside me with a mixture of pain.  I felt a hand grab my wrist as shin spoke.  "Let's go, before it get worse" Shin said as he started to pull me.  I looked at him in hatrid as I pulled away out of his grip.  "Why, you just almost killed my older brother" I growled as I felt like killing him.  I got on all fours as I made him back up.  He tripped over a branch stub in the middle of the ground.

That was my time to attack. I was doing this for Ruki and the rest of my brothers.  I jumped on Shin's chest, pinning him down to the ground.  He tried to move up, but I was somehow stronger than him.  I extended my claws as I scratched his face, right near the eye that wasn't under the patch.  "You bad girl" he yelled in anger, trying to move but couldn't.  I looked at him dead in the eye, as I dug my claws right into his chest near his heart.  He screamed in pain, as he started bleeding, which didn't bother me at all. I leaned in his ear as he started gasping for air.  "Lesson for you,  don't attack my family" I said as he sat there and still gasping. I watched him as his eyes shut slowley, and he lost his breath. I released him from my grip, and looked the other way.  Carla, and now Kanato was looking at me in shock.  I walked up to the two as I pushed Kanato out of the way.  I grabbed Carla by his coat and pulled him closer, as our faces were close to each other.  "Take your brother and the wolves, then get out of here.  Before I kill you both" I said as I pushed him on the ground.  At this point, he was shaking with fear, then he smiled as he staired at me.  "I knew you would fight it" he said as he tured to Kanato.  "Oh little one, kill her for me" he said as Kanato got on all fours and started walking towards me. 

I growled at him as I got down to his level. "Go lay down, Kanato" I said sternly, as I gave him the same eye.  "LILLY" Yuma yelled in fear.  I ignored his yell, and the rest of the screams, as I focused on Kanato.  He growled as he lunged at me, but I knocked and pinned him.  "Kanato" I said in a regular tone, this time now worried.  I looked at him as I thought of what to do, I could tell he was dieing, and fast.  "Lilly" Ayato yelled as he ran up to help me.  I ignored everything and just focused on Kanato.  "Kanato" I said as I bit into my own skin, drawing up blood. "LILY NO!" Ayato yeled, as the wolves took off in another direction. I released my wrist, watching the blood trickle down my skin, and pressed it against Kanato's mouth.  At this point, the rest of the Sakamaki's reached us, but my brothers stayed down where they were.  They didn't want to know what was going on, so they stayed with Yui.

I focused on Kanato, as his body lied still, with me on top.  "What are you doing?" Ayato said as he tried to stop me.  "Get away, let me continue" I growled at him, the wolf in me getting evil.  Ayato backed up as he looked at me, scared of being attacked, like I was loosing control.  I huffed as I looked back at Kanato, as he lied there still.  "Please bite me" I said, hoping he was so I knew he was alive.  But he didn't move.  Didn't bite.  I sat there, watching the blood pour dowh his chin and neck, and then to the ground.  I sat there in thought to myself.  Kanato was dead, and I couldn't save him.  I lowered my head as I kept my arm against his mouth breathing.  I focused my own breath as I started to cry, thinking.  I couldn't save him.

I lied there as I felt weaker, by the amount of blood loss.  Nothing was working.  "Kanato" I whispered through tears, keeping my head against his chest as I cried.  Finally, I heard a inhale as fangs bit into my arm, making me whince in pain.  I kncew he just bit me, and now taking my blood. I looked at him, seeing his eyes still closed. His hands gripped my arm, as he continue taking my blood. I felt weaker as my blood trickled into him more, now getting a heavier flow.  Finally, he released my arm as he gasped for air.  "Blood, so good" he said as I crashed next to him on the ground.  He arose as he grabbed his bear, and clenched it.  He chuckled as he looked at me lying there as the blood drained from my body. He dropped his teddy as he looked at me more. "Lilly, stay with us" Ayato said as he turned me around, and lied me on my back.  I gasped for air, as I slowley closed my eyes and opened them again.  I was on the verge of dyeing.  I didn't care if it was to make everyone else stay alive.

I heard footsteps as Subaru knelt by me, followed by my brothers. "Lilly!" he yelled, tears dripping down his face.  Slowley, I closed my eyes, as the world spun around me.  I was getting weaker as I lied there.  "Lilly" Ruki whispered as a tear hit my face.  Ruki, along wiht the rest of my brothers was now crying.  Subaru was already breaking down. Subaru got up as he walked away, tears poured down his face as he sobbed.  Ruki shifled as he brushed his hand up against my cheek. "Lilly, you can't die" Ruki said as he started to cry.  Tears started to drip down my face more.  I heard someone shift as a head lied on my chest, and someone started sobbing.  "Lilly, please don't die, Baby" Subaru said, as his tears soaked through my shirt. I opened my eyes as I looked up seeing him lying on my chest, his hand in mine.  "Subaru" I said as I tugged a strand of hair from his head. Finaly, after the third tug, he looked up with tears falling down his cheek.

"Lilly?" he said with a sob.  I chuckled as I grabbed his hand.  "Awe, your crying" I said with a smile. Subaru sniffled again as he bent forward. He picked up my head as he bent towards my forehead. "I love you" he sobbed as he kissed the top of my head. He lifted up, still looking at me. "Subaru, I got a secret to tell you" I whispered, playing a act that would defantly get him to kill me.  I wasn't actully dieing, I was healed, but just praking him. He bent towards me, putting his ear up against my face.  "What Baby" he said, trying not to cry.  I smiled as I licked his cheek, making him lunge back. "Eww" he said in shock.  I smiled as I sat up, then stood. "Love you" I said with a stretch.  Subaru laughed as he got up. "I AM SO GOING TO KILL YOU!" he yelled playfully as he chased me around.  A hour passed as we desided to go back home.
