I joined the boys in the livingroom seeing what I always saw. Ruki was at his book, Yuma was strangely not in the room, Kou and Azusa was doing homework at the table. Everyone was silent, keeping to themselves as they continued. I felt a lot better from what was happening. Kanato and I didn't have the wolf gene in us anymore. Kanato was now back to his crazy self, talking creepily to his teddy bear. I stopped having my headaches that I was getting. My head didn't feel like it was pounding anymore, which was good. I walked closer in the room as Kou put his pen down and huffed. "Done with homework, finally" he said as he took a stretch. Azusa didn't say a word, just continued with his work. I sat by the window as I looked out. The sky was dark with a bunch of stars, dotting the entire view. It made the sky brighten up with light, reflecting the light from the moon. The moonlight was bright enough to light up the whole room, which it did. It shined down on everything, making everything outside shiny, like it just rained. Kou walked into the living room as he plopped next to Ruki on the couch. Ruki huffed in frustration as he gripped his book better. "You almost made me drop my book" he huffed In frustration. He was now looking at Kou dead in the eye. Whenever he did that to any of us, it always made us jump in fear. We knew we were in trouble. Kou jolted as he moved a quickly, out of Ruki's range, just in case he tried to hit him. Knowing Ruki, it was possible. I huffed as I looked out the window, seeing the street very silent. No cars moved acrossed the road, just our car that sat still in the driveway.
I huffed as I lied my head down on the sill. Kou jumped by me as he slapped a hand on my shoulder, making me jump, even though I knew he was going to do it. "Watcha doing Kitten?" he asked in his most positive tone. He sounded exited about something, but I didn't know what. I sighed as I shrugged at him. "I dunno, just looking outside" I said as I spotted Ruki looking up at me from his book, then smiled as he looked back down. I looked around, hearing Ruki flip a page in the book and Azusa typing on his computer. I sighed as I noticed that Yuma wasn't in the room. I sighed as I looked around. "Does anyone know where Yuma is?" I asked, wanting to go searching for him, curious of what he was doing. "He's in the back, attending the flowers if you need to see him" Ruki said, as he got more comfy and went deeper into his book. "Alright, great" I said as I got up and left to join him.
I opened the back door, seeing the yard full of life. The trees were greener than ever. The water in the fountain was going with bright blue water, gushing down to the bowl below it. The flowers were brighter than ever, like the moon was making them glow. It was really pretty, and it was almost blinding. I looked over to the far edge as I saw Yuma, doing something with a shovel, as he sighed and rubbed his head. Silently and not wanting to interrupt, I walked over seeing him attending to the rare rose in the garden. He cleared his voice as he huffed. "There, all healthy, aren't ya" he said as he caught his breath. I chuckled a bit, which grabbed his attention. "You watching me little girl?" he asked, in a playful tone of voice. I chuckled at him as I shook my head. "You still talk to flowers, don't you?" I asked him, as I knelt by him. I looked at the roses as I huffed. "Their still growing I see" I said with a sigh. Yuma shook his head, as he went back to picking the dead ones out. I looked over, seeing another rare one. It was all black, stem and all. It was intertwined with the white roses which was weird. I never seen anything like it. Yuma started to go back and picking out the dead ones.
"Hey, Yuma" I said grabbing his attention. He looked my way, as he studied me looking at the garden. "What is it, baby" he said with a sigh of relaxation. "When did you plant a black one?" I asked as I pointed at the rose. He looked as he bent down, and brushed the rose genially, as he chuckle. "Kou's going to get it later" he said with a chuckle. I laughed as I shook my head. "Your probably going to kill him, huh?" I asked, as I looked over at him. He picked out the fake rose as he looked at it. He pressed the rose to his nose as he started inhaling the scent. I looked at him weirded out by the whole situation. "What are you doing?" I asked him, creeped out a bit. He sat there smelling it, then pulled it away from his nose. "Plastic, defiantly a fake" he said as he chuckled, shaking his head. I just continued to look at him in confusion. "You can tell by just smelling it?" I asked, confused about the whole thing. Then I thought of Yuma always having an interest in plants. Yuma nodded as he sat on the dirt and faced me. He huffed as he picked a fresh rose, smelt it and looked at me.
"Let's have another lesson. This one's about telling if flowers are fake or not" he said with a sigh. I nodded as I crossed my legs, putting all my attention towards the conversation. Yuma scooted forward as he cleared his voice. "Ok, feel the peddles" he said, handing me one of the roses. I felt one of the petals, as I focused on it. It felt like plastic, hard and a little heavy. It almost felt like a plastic bag that food comes in. "It's a little heavy" I said as I looked at him. He nodded pulling the fake one away, then brought the other one closer in my direction. "Now feel" he said as he smiled. I felt the petal of what was the real one. It was silky, and smooth. One of the softest things I ever felt, softer than a feather. "It's soft and silky" I said looking up at him. He nodded as he pulled them both away. "You can defiantly feel the difference, and plastic is really heavy. That's why I don't let Kou near them" he said with a laugh. I chuckled at the comment, even though it was more of an insult than a joke.
Yuma cleared his voice as he continued. "Ok, next thing is smell. The fake roses have no smell to them" he said handing me the fake. "Smell this one first" he said as I took the flower from him. I smelt it, not really getting anything from it. "There's no scent" I said as he reached to give it back to him. He took the fake as he sighed. "Now the real one" he said handing me the other one in his hand. I took a good whiff of the rose, smelling a strong scent that I really couldn't describe. I pulled it away as I sneezed. I was also slightly allergic to them, but not much. They just stuffed me up. "That's how you can tell if it's real" he said with a laugh. "So if it makes me sneeze, it's real?" I asked, as I looked at him in disappointment. He chuckled as he put the roses down ad finished laughing. "The real ones always make you sneeze, and it always has" he said with a huff. I sighed as I got up and walked back in the house. I entered the house and walked through the living room to go upstairs. "I thought you were helping Yuma with the flowers?" Ruki asked, going back to his book. "I'm going to bed" I said with embarrassment from what happened. Ruki shook his head, as he chuckled, and we all did our own thing for the night.
