I jolted awake as I caught my breath. I gasped as my eyes widen I shot up in my bed as I pressed my hand up against my chest. I felt like someone was sitting on my chest, and kept jumping up and down on it. I was breathing harder, as I gasped for air, trying to calm myself down. I felt my neck for bite marks as I sighed in relief. I lowered my head, feeling my breath becoming now normal, and my chest was starting to get sore for a bit. The soreness faded away after a minute or so of focusing it. I huffed as I sopke to myself. "I'm still alive" I said as I focused on my breath again. I heard footsteps run down the hall at full speed, and then Yuma burst through the door. The door swung open, and banged against the wall, making a loud booming sound. "Hopefully it didn't dent the wall" I thought to myself. "You ok, Lilly?" he asked, as he walked more into the room. I sighed, not saying a word as I focused on my breath. I lied back my head, right on my pillow as I looked at my hand. "I'm not bleeding" I said in confusion. Yuma walked up to my bed as he sat next to me. He started to rub my head gently, while he talked. "No, your not. You stopped bleeding a few days ago" he said in a low tone to his voice.
I moaned as I lied my head against my pillow. I had about three or four of them, surrounding my head for support, keeping me still so I couldn't roll off. I covered my eyes, as I tried to settle my breath more. "Please, Yuma. Don't kill me" I said, as I felt a tear falling down my cheek, scared of what he was going to say. Yuma looked at me in confusion, not knowing what he needed to respond with. I sat up as I pressed my back against the wall, and Yuma sat where I moved my feet at the end of the bed. He hug his legs over the side of the bed, as he looked at his hands. "And why would I do that?" he asked with a laugh. I huffed as I continued to settle down. "Yuma, if I got out of control, will you boys kill me?" I asked, being as serious as I could be. Yuma looked at me in shock, speechless of what to say, how to reply. He licked his lips as he huffed, and looked out the window. I could see nothing but sadness in his eyes. He huffed as if he was ignoring the question. Finally, he looked back at me with a sigh. "We will if we absolutely have to" he said with a sob. A tear started leaking out of his eye, and it fell down his cheek as he took a deep breath.
I studied him once more, as I tilted my head in confusion. "Yuma, did that question hurt?" I asked as I watched him trying hard not to break down. He took a deep breath as he sniffled, his eyes were now filled with tears. He nodded as he softly spoke. "Yeah, it did" he said quick and quietly. Yuma got up as he bent over to give me a hug, then got up and left the room "I'll let you rest" he said as he walked out of the room completely. I noticed by the tone in his voice that he was crying. That question was slowly breaking him down, and it was painful. I sighed as I cuddled in my sheets, feeling bad. "I didn't want to make him cry" I thought to myself, as I pushed my head into my pillow. "I was just curious" I said as I started crying myself. I ended up crying myself to a deep sleep, hoping that he wasn't hurting that badly.
Insight on Yuma
Yuma walked down the hall and finally made it to the living room. Kou and Ruki was sitting on the couch, Ruki was reading his book and Kou was watching TV. Ruki huffed as he sat by Kou, seeing what he was watching. Ruki huffed as he eyed Yuma for a split second, then brought his gaze back to his book. "What's wrong, Yuma" Ruki asked, breaking the silence. Yuma didn't say a word. He just sat there in silence, trying not to cry. The conversation was breaking him down inside. He couldn't speak to anyone, so he didn't reply. Ruki looked at Yuma as he sighed and put his bookmark in his spot, finishing with putting his book down on the table. Kou looked at Yuma in shock, as he pulled his full attention on him. "Something wrong Yuma?" he asked, as he shifted towards him more.
Yuma sat there, his head pressed against his chest as he cried. He didn't want to talk about it at the moment, just wanted silence. Kou moved closer to Yuma as he wrapped an arm around him, trying to comfort him, but Yuma refused. "Not now Kou?" Yuma said with a huff. He rubbed his neck as he finally got up, and went outside to his roses. He started picking off the dead flowers, as he tried to relax more. The back door to the house opened, as Kou walked out. "Yuma is something wrong?" he said, curious on what happened to make Yuma this way. Yuma shook his head as he pulled out his little garden shovel. He studied the point of the shovel as he huffed. Kou knelt by him as he patted Yuma on the back. The back door opened, as Ruki and Azusa stood in the doorway. "Yuma, is something wrong?" Ruki yelled towards the garden. Yuma shook his head as he sighed, trying to control his tears, as the sound of feet against the gravel grew louder, as the others joined.
"Did something happened?" Ruki asked as him and Azusa walked closer. Ruki sat next to Yuma as he sighed, and put his full attention on him. "What did you talk about?" Ruki said, as the three of them stared at Yuma. Yuma took a deep breath, trying to settle himself before he spoke. "Lilly and I talked about her being hurt. She told me, that if she got worse" he said, as he put his head down in silence. He sniffled, as he looked at his hands. "If she gets worse, she wants us to kill her" he finally spoke out. The other three looked at him in shock. They couldn't believe what their little sister had said. They all took a deep breath as Yuma tried to stop crying. Ruki cleared his voice before he spoke. "That's the last thing we'll do" he said with a huff. Finally, he turned to Yuma. "Was she emotional when she told you?" Yuma shook his head, then huffed as he pressed his hands together, and brought them up to his lips. "No, she was serious" he said with a little sob. The other three looked at each others in silence. They couldn't believe of what just came out of Yuma, and was serious about it. Finally, Ruki sat by Yuma as he huffed. "Well, we just got to see what happens, and killing her is the last thing we do" Ruki said as the others joined and the boys sat there in silence.
