Running constantly
Some move slowly taking time
To get past barriers and enjoy
The things around them
Others move quickly
Knocking away the obstacles
without a care
And changing their surroundings
To better fit them
Unused to being restrained
It does everything in its power
To escape
Finding loopholes
And cracks in the blockage
It wears away and breaks through
Continuing on its set course
Not always do they stay on this set course
Choosing to blaze new paths
And discover new courses.
They can stop short, becoming dead ends,
Or they go on and join up with others,
Creating something more unique.
Each is beautiful in their own way,
Whether they are large and deep,
Or small and shallow.
Not always do they appeal
to everyone, but there is always someone
Who finds beauty in their differences.
Eventually they all join in one place
Only to be lost in the end.
It doesn't just end here
They continue on to new places
Reborn to build and destroy
and never truly resting
