Laying in the grass, I gave up at the heavens
Twinkling above me is Ursa Major
To my left, the trees dance in the wind
Suddenly, a lone grasshopper jumps next to me
He looks at me, then hops awayLaying there, I can hear the slight whistle of the wind
And the rustling of the grass and dancing trees.
In the distance, a slight "Hoo" comes from the woods
Along with the cries of a lone wolf
Calling out to the new-born moonI close my eyes and inhale sharply
I smell the crispness of the air and smile
There's a slight hint of burning wood and fresh cut grass
The mixture of smells makes my smile growI drag my hand over the grass.
The individual blades run slightly under my fingers
Exchanging water droplets from them onto my hand
I also feel the cold wind on my face
Sending a chill throughout my body
