I spent ages with Professor Trelawney pouring over tea leaves, looking in crystal balls, reading the stars, and it all said the same thing, Sirius was going to die by the end of the school year. I tried asking Professor Trelawney if the future can change if there was anything I could do. She said "When death is after someone it keeps coming, most you can do is delay it but it will not stop until it gets what it came for."
I don't know what to do. What if she's right, what if I lose Sirius forever? One day after lunch Firenze, the centaur who took over Trelawney's post as divination teacher, came up to me and said that he had much to discuss with me about my situation.
We went to his classroom and he told me, "Stop searching, it has been written in the stars that if you keep going at this pace not only will he inevitably die, but so will you. Prophecies cannot not be changed, take this time to be with him and say goodbye. Being able to say goodbye is more than most people get."
"I can't lose him Firenze, it took decades for us to be together, I can't lose him now. There has to be something, anything, a life for a life maybe."
"Nothing can be done, death doesn't make exchanges, even for something that hasn't been born yet. Don't look at me like that, the stars reveal everything."
After dinner I left back to Grimmauld Place to spend some time with Sirius. Firenze is right I may not be able to stop it, but I can spend this time with him and be able to say goodbye.~~

About 2 weeks after seeing Firenze I started feeling extremely nauseous, I couldn't keep anything down and I was cramping really bad. I now understand what Firenze meant, I am pregnant! I thought he meant like a rumplestiltskin type of deal when he said not even one that isn't born yet. In April I decided to take the rest of the year off from being a teachers assistant, spend what time I can with Sirius, and prep for when the baby comes. My first night there I told Sirius about me being pregnant. He is so excited, already talking about teaching him or her how to ride a broom and how to play quidditch just like his or her uncles, James and Regulus.

As time goes by I can't help but to get more and more anxious by the day. Sirius senses it but every time he asks I dodge the question or tell him it's the pregnancy. How do you tell someone they're going to die?
