"Nate you have to do something !" Katelyn pounced her fists on the door , for ages it's always been locked.
"It's her fault for leaving. Go away !" Nate was checking his laptop for some ebook mystery novels to read , his sister had to barge in some point in the middle of an exciting discovery of new ebooks.
Nate knew she wasn't going to shut up and walk away just as he imagined , so he gave in to her yells and shrieks and panicks , he unlocked his bed room door and slightly pushed her aside.
In his corner of eye , he saw her smiling , smiling as if comfortingly relieved. He liked that smile of hers , it made her seem as if she relied on him , and he liked being responsible as the first born. It was some kind of big brother feeling that eased him.
"You have to find her." Katelyn was still not a hundred percent relieved yet.
"Where is she heading ?" Nate asked , he went down the stairs and he assumed Katelyn followed.
"South East..." Katelyn wanted to tail along with Nate , but he rejected her request as soon as possible.
Frustrated she stood in the house , was a good girl and went to bed , she knew she could count on Nate , Nate was a hero , even when it came to their childhood days , that one time she was hit by a school mate , Nate was the only person to stand in the way and pick her up , she had still remembered the menacingly warm hands he had generously lent towards her.
Nate ran from the house to the South East , the area where obscuriuses normally held activity in the night and day. It was the most crowded place with dark and dirty things. Let alone a simple girl like her cannot survive the ferocious environment.
"Please..." I exhaled , trying to work out my lungs to function properly , I couldn't breathe at the time , they were getting closer and closer each millisecond. I could feel my adrenaline rising to its maximum state , my whole body reacted to the sensitive nerve system.
I was scared.
And I admitted it now , what else more could it do ? Could it change the fact that I'm going to die here ? Or that I failed to find my mother's death cause ?
What is it worth hiding it at the start and revealing it until now ?
This is slow torturing.
The black creatures are hideous , spooky , disgusting , scary , creepy , emotionless , non-human , cannibals.
I was backing up to find my back stamped on a dead end in the dark alley. I was freaking out , I started whispering in my heart , remembering the times I spent in the orphanage , the memories of mother , not to mention , daddy ? I won't bother preying , I deserved to end in an ending this cruel. I couldn't blame any one for not rescuing me or helping me.
They've already tried to help. Katelyn , Nate , That woman in the train , the barber next to the orphanage that offered me help before , land mother and my orphan friends.
Sinking in the memories of my flashback , I heard a voice calling out to me , opening my eyes to find the black creatures extend it's big mouth around my head , my eyes only to see the sharp teeth and long tongue of it in front of me. I muttered :"please..."
Too frightened to scream , no tears to shed , no voice to let out from the pain endured.
Nate had found her in the dark alley , he heard her little mutter of words , he saw her body alive and well amongst the crowd of obscuriuses. It was a miracle she hasn't died yet , normally obscuriuses attack in a close range and violently critical. Knowing she wasn't half dead , he pulled a blade from his belt and slashed through the obscuriuses. Being attacked and forced to retreat , some of the obscuriuses took the chance and ran off further from location point. Some of the slow and left out members were sorrowfully sent to eternal sleep under the touch of the blade , soaked into their own dark blood and black liquid , they rest from peace alast.
The blade of Nate's was a special kind of blade , it was the type to glow golden when used , the more it enlightens the more powerful it charged. It was a family pass down from his deceased father.
Looking down on the girl who has suffered tragedy and abuse , he had no choice but to feel low and fairly unstable as she was. He kept his blade and bent down to her , only to find her dried tears.
