"Did Nate take you out and uncover the truth ?" Katelyn asked , she place her hands on the fresh green apples in the market.
"Yes , in fact he did , the murderer was a guy called Duncan Chancellor." I murmured , my eyes stirring in the area , ten years... Any thing could've been moved from now , the crime scene left overs would have been destroyed by the decade. What am I doing ?
"Wow it seems you really mesmerized the name huh ?" Katelyn smiled , her eyes darkened by the shade of the market stall stands.
For a second there , I noticed she looked completely different , at least more unusual than usual.
"Mr. Chancellor , I have come to pick up my golden goblet ?" A woman's causal voice ran by the sides of the stalls beside me.
I bobbed my head over my shoulders immensely , hearing Chancellor had gotten my attention.
The kind looking stall keeper step forwards and took out a goblet what seems made of gold from a brownish box under the table. He passed it to the woman as she paid him fairly. After the woman left the stall , I hurried to the stall , the stall keeper looked at me , we exchanged unfamiliar looks.
"May I help you ?" Mr. William Chancellor , the stall keeper asked.
"Um , yeah , are you Duncan Chancellor ?" I asked , my eyes glistened , even though the paper file said Duncan died , but I still had to know more.
William was the father of Duncan Chancellor , he was indeed very shocked when he heard that there was a girl in front of his stall , asking to see his dead son.
"Duncan...Is my son , he died ten years ago young lady." William smiled fadingly to me , I felt sorry to remind this father of his dead son , but I had to.
Katelyn let her lips curve into a pethatic smile and said :" See ? There are not going to be any clues now , ten years have passed Alice , think it through , please."
I turn over to face her when she touched my shoulders.
I looked helpless , and I knew.
"Young lady , why would you want to meet my son ?" William asked out of the odds.
"Your son killed my mother." I stammered. "My mother was an innocent traveler..." , "Duncan...I never got a chance to meet him , if I did , I'd want to ask him why..." I gritted my teeth , my words were starting to get unclear in my own sentence.
Katelyn cracked one of her tooth , her mouth was bleeding in the inside , she held it in , she had enough of the foolish girl , and her stupid little games. She place the grocery bag on the table of William's stall. She pounded her fist on the wooden surface , the sound was clear and strong , evey one in the market stopped what they were doing and bodies faced towards Katelyn. Even I was shocked , I forgotten what I was going to speak of.
Katelyn tilt her head up , her brown beautiful hair cascading to her back , she deepened her bone tackling smile , more of her terrifyingly sharp teeth showing , blood dripping from her lips , her eyes showing sanity.
I exhaled from the outside of my lungs , what I am seeing is definitely the most horrible scary shows I have ever seen in my life.
She was muttering , something... Her mutters slowly come into pieces of words that form a sentence.
Others in the market that stood a distance from Katelyn would not notice her facial changes , but me and Mr. William Chancellor did.
"Excuse me , are you okay ?" A man with dark blue shirt and yellow pants have stood out of the crowd , as soon as he step foot on two meters area closing in to Katelyn , the sooner he gets eaten alive.
