Jungkook tightened his hug around the pillow on the couch, and took a sip from his banana milk, trying so hard to stop his body from shaking. Horrible scenes from his sleep a few minutes ago seemed like doesn't want to disappear from his mind.
He sighed when he realised it was three twenty in the morning, means that he already sat there for about thirty minutes, and yet the horrible scenes was still fresh in his mind. His tears already dried since a few minutes ago, leaving an empty feeling inside of him.
Why did he get that nightmare? What was the meaning of his nightmare? What if that nightmare happen? What if the nightmare was trying to warn him about something? What will he do if that really happen? How can he live after that?
So many questions were running inside his head, searching for some answer, craving for some comfort. He wanted to come to one of his hyungs so bad but he couldn't.
Seokjin was having a busy day, recording his part of their song, meeting a producer, shooting a variety show, and taking care of the second oldest when he get back home. Yoongi wasn't feeling well from the morning, and he didn't want to disturb the peaceful sleep of the second oldest, seeing that he was working really hard and forget about his health, like usual. Hoseok and Jimin spent their day on the dance studio, working on some new choreography from early in the morning until six in the evening, and they went straight to bed after dinner. Namjoon probably wouldn't come home, since he was still in his studio at that time. Taehyung went back home pretty late after shooting his Hwarang scene, and clearly seemed really tired since he went straight to bed as soon as he step inside their dorm.
They were busy with their individual schedule these past few weeks.
Jungkook took the last sip of his banana milk, before placing the bottle on the coffee table beside him. He tightened his arms around the pillow, and sighed deeply. He was exhausted and sleepy, but he didn't dare to let the sleep consume him again.
The sound of the front door being open startled him. He heard footsteps walking down the hallway to the living room, and a loud yawn of his leader could be hear.
"Jungkook-ah?"
Jungkook turned to look at his hyung, and smiled, but Namjoon could sense there's something wrong with the maknae.
"Why are you still up?" Namjoon asked him as he walked into the kitchen to grab some water. Jungkook looked at his role model, watching him as he took a sip from his water, and placed the glass on the kitchen bar.
"Thirsty," was an answer that Jungkook said to the older, looking locking eyes with Namjoon that was leaning with his elbow on the kitchen bar.
"You sure?"
"Yep."
Namjoon was still looked at Jungkook for quite a while, before shrugging and walking out from the kitchen to his bedroom.
"If you need anything, just come to hyung, okay?" Namjoon ruffled his maknae's hair as he walk pass Jungkook.
The younger sighed deeply. He internally cursed his hyungs for knowing his weakness. He really wanted to give in, he really wanted to come to his leader, talking about his nightmare, and maybe get some comfort from the leader, but he didn't want to. He was afraid that Namjoon would laughing at him, or calling him a coward.
Well, he didn't know that Namjoon would never call him that, or laugh at him about that. The older was really concerned about his maknae, after seeing the maknae curling up on the couch, pillow pressed tightly on his chest, and an empty Banana Milk on the coffee table beside him. Jungkook would never wake up and drink his favourite milk in the middle of night, unless he needs some comfort.
