Seth's Proposal

*P.O.V. Seth*

   Tonight's the night! I have everything set up and she's almost ready. If you have no idea what's going on, tonight's the night I'm gonna propose to Leinna. I love her and I want to be with her. SO....tonight is our 3 year anniversary and I planned the entire thing to perfection. Tonight is going to be absolutely Perfect. Nothing will go wrong. As of now, I'm waiting for Lei to come out ready because I'm already rarin' to go. I fancied myself up to my gray tuxedo, freshly polished shoes, and my good eye-patch.

   Leinna comes out in a glorious blue evening gown, silver heels, a matching necklace and earrings, and her hair is curled and over her left shoulder. She's the sexiest thing on earth~ I just wanna pull that off her and go to town with her~ 

   Shaking my head to get the thoughts out of my mind, I ask while slapping my knees, "Yas ready ta gos?"

   "As I'll ever be," She smiles that lovely smile to me.

   Walking to the car, we make conversation about where we're eating and what the food selection is. Ya see, I already told her where we're eating because we aren't the biggest fans of surprises. I've got one she might like though.

   Not but and hour later, we make our way to the front door and go to the hostess. "Hellos, I'm the reservation 'Patch'."

   "Of course. This way." She grabs our menus and has us follow her to a table I specially reserved for us by the windows. The windows go from the ground to the ceiling, which is something Leinna loves for reasons she doesn't even know. We sit down and our waiter comes to the table to ask what beverages we'd like to have.

   "Chateau Lafite please," I order with a smirk.

   "Sorry, that couple over there just got our last bottle of that wine."

   "Oh, alright thens. Chateau Margaux if yas don't mind."

   With an apologetic look, he says, "Sorry. None of that either." 

   I sigh getting frustrated and ask, "What do you have?"

   "We have Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 1941. Would that work?" I just nod and he goes to get the wine. I'm happy Leinna doesn't know how expensive wine at these places really are, because she'd kill me for this. I just fuckin' ordered us a $24,675 bottle of wine. I look at her and try to forget the small irritation that I just went through. Luckily, that's not enough to dampen my night.

   Eventually the waiter comes back with the wine and pours us our drinks. He takes our orders and we sit and chat a little about this and that, having a pleasant time. That is until the waiter comes back. Leinna got a salad with her meal which of course comes early, as you know. Well, mine came with a soup of some type. The fuckin' waiter managed to set Leinna's salad down without a problem, but me...nah. He just spilt the soup all over the front of my tux. Might I add that it was burning hot!

   He keeps apologizing and I just deal with the pain with a smile and say "it's all alright." The waiter goes to get some more for me, but I stop him and say, "I'll just wait for my steak." Giving me a hesitant nod, he goes to check on other tables and leaves us.

  "Are you sure you're okay?" Leinna asks me, able to see through my facade. I just throw on my most convincing smile and tell her that everything is fine and not to worry about it.

   Leinna's empty salad bowl was taken away and replaced by her dinner. Mine wasn't placed down, so I questioned, "Um....Where is mine?"

   "I apologize, but your's need to be remade. The cook burnt it badly." I nod for what feels like the thousandth time tonight, only this time, getting more upset. I'm getting on edge now.

   "Want me to wait until you get your food?" She asks.

   "No-no. I-uh, don't wants yours food ta go colds." I conclude and hesitantly, Lei nods and starts to eat. Finally my food arrives and I can eat. God, I'm hungry. I go to grab my fork and knife...but it's not there......FUCKIN' HELL! I signal for any waiter or waitress but none see me. I call for one a few times, but guess what. NONE FUCKIN' HEAR ME EITHER!

   Not soon enough, one comes to see what the problem is and is quick to fix it. When I get my silverware, I eagerly cut into my steak and take a bite....It's goddamn cold! What The Fuck. I decide to not be that guy and just deal with it.

   I make small talk with Leinna while I eat because she finished a few minutes ago. Completing my meal, our regular waiter of the night comes to take our dirty plates and asks if we want any dessert. Leinna is quick to say, "Yes!" and orders immediately. Giving us a certain shake of the head, he goes to get the Black Forest Cake.

   Figuring this would be the best time, I get up and go in front of Leinna. I kneel and start my speech, "Tonight has been one hells of a night. In fact, these past 3 years have and I's don't regrets a thang abouts it. I don'ts know if I's have enough times tos tells ya how much and whats I loves about ya. Yous mean das world and much mores to mes. So Leinna Cherri Rifts, would yous do m-" I'm cut off.

   Our waiter tripped and the cake Leinna ordered was smashed right into my face.

THIS IS JUST FINE AND DANDY! 

   The waiter again starts to frantically apologize, everyone else gasps, I think I heard someone take a picture, and then my ears are filled with one lone sound. Leinna's laugh. She's laughing....at me....great. I feel her thumbs wipe my eye so I can see that beautiful face of hers all red and smiling from ear to ear. She looks into my eye and has the most heartfelt look on her face.

   "Well, to answer what I think you were going to ask. Yes, I will marry you. And just so you know, when I said a long time ago, "I love cake so much I could marry it, I didn't mean literally," she tells me while giggling and that got me to chuckle. I stand up straight and take the engagement ring I specially bought her out of my pocket and slide it onto her finger. Looking back at her face, she gets closer to me and when I think she's about to kiss me, she goes to my cheek and licks it. "Oh, that cake is good~" I just smile and shake my head slowly.

   "What did I's do ta get such a greats girl?"

   "You've been a bad man, that's what."

   I looking into her eyes lovingly. "Hey. I've alreadys been the main attractions for majority of tonights. What do yas say I we leaves with a bang?" She nods vigorously and I take one on my pistols I kept hidden in the back of my tux out. Everyone screams and start to hide under the tables as I aim for the window beside us. Taking the shot, the entire window cracks and falls into a million tiny pieces. We calmly walk out of the restaurant to the car so we can go back home and I can get cleaned up for later tonight~

Man....

What a Perfect night.
