Toby wakes up to the same gut sinking feeling and of a course, a crying baby. Toby gets out of bed, and walks down the hall to Joy's room. He stands over her crib, gently picks her up and puts he over his shoulder. Rocking back and forth, shushing Joy ever so slightly trying not to wake Happy. Joy stops crying, Toby laughs slightly while looking deeply into Joy's beautiful brown eyes. He rocks her in his arms until her eye lids become heavy and then close. He lays her back down in her crib, turns the mobile back on and goes back to his and Happy's room.
Toby gets back into bed and roll over onto his left side, looking out the window. The gut feeling grows to his heart and leaves him worried, not knowing what this feeling meant. Joy crystal out but then softly simmers down and stops crying. Toby sits up and takes out a notepad and pen form the nightstand. "Baby monitors" he writes on the paper, he puts the pad and pen back on the night and as a reminder for tomorrow. Toby falls back asleep trying to disregard that gut sinking feeling he has had for days.
