Tetsuo tore through the woods. He was overjoyed that he was going to go see the Sakamaki's again but he was also dreading it. He knew that they would probably think differently about him at this point, since he has been gone 3 years.
After a while of running, Tetsuo knew he was close. He stopped and let the bag drop to the ground. He transformed back into a human, without his ears and tail showing; he had learned to control this a couple years back as one of the maids was an Okami as well.
He opened his bag and quickly clothed himself. He brought out a quick snack as well, letting himself take a break. When he was done, he stood and kept on in the direction of the well known mansion.

It was a normal night at the Sakamaki Manor. Everyone was off doing their own thing. No one was expecting anyone, and no one had anything to do. So when there was a knock at the door, the residents were all a bit surprised. Nonetheless, almost everyone made their way near the main door.
Reiji sighed, before pushing up his glasses with an index finger and swinging the door open. He was going to begin to greet them until he realized who it was.
Reiji had no words as he stared at the blonde before him. "Tetsuo...?" He whispered, staring at the matured wolf he used to know so well. Tetsuo nodded, not sure if he should smile at the vampires' reaction or frown.
Reiji's face suddenly contorted from a face of shock to one of disgust. "Why the hell are you here?" He spat, resisting the urge to shut the door. Tetsuo winced at the anger and hurt laced in his voice.
"Reiji...I can explain—" "Reiji who is it—?" Yui's mouth fell open as she walked up. You could see the tears start to swell in her eyes. "Why the fuck are you here?" She suddenly hissed, tears falling down her cheeks.
"Yui. Language." Reiji snapped at her, making her frown and turn away. Tetsuo looked at them, a face of guilt and regret. He never should of left. He should have just told them what was happening. Why didn't he?
He started to question himself as the others slowly showed up, watching the wolf in front of them. Tetsuo looked down, though his eyes shot up as he felt a drop of something on his neck.
In no time, it had started to rain. Tetsuo looked at them with pleading eyes. "May I..come in?" He mumbled, still getting multiple glares.
Reiji reluctantly let him walk inside, closing the door behind him. He then took a few steps away from the wolf.
Tetsuo looked from one of them to the next, finally stopping at Shu. The eldest vampire had a hurt expression plastered on his face, his eyes almost starting to swell with tears.
"Shu, are you alright..? I'm sorry—" Tetsuo instinctively reached for him, but retracted his arm just as fast as Shu backed away.
"Why did you leave...? You said..." Shu started, getting choked up on his words, "You said you wouldn't leave me.." He whispered, a tear, none of the others noticed, running down his face.
Tetsuo's breath hitched as he recalled the heartbreaking moment Shu opened up to him. The wolf had watched as he cried and spilled out about his past with his mother. With Edgar.
That was the night Tetsuo told him. He told him, "I love you, and I promise you I won't leave you. I'll stay by your side."
Tetsuo choked on his own tears as he thought about it. "I know I did, and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry...but I.. I had to go! I had to.."
"Then what's the reason..? Why'd you just leave without saying anything!" Laito suddenly joined the argument. "You didn't.. leave a note..or anything. You said nothing and you just left." He hissed, his fists clenched as he shook with anger.
"I..I can't say.. I just, I didn't want to leave—" "Then why!?" Kanato screamed, flailing his arms a bit.
"I..." Tetsuo stumbled over his words before looking down and just letting his tears fall. Kanato shook his head before disappearing elsewhere.
"Guys, please forgive me. I couldn't say anything or they would've— I know I messed up.. really badly, but please take me back. I don't wanna go again." Tetsuo looked at his feet, trembling as he cried.
He heard slow footsteps towards him, then he felt a hard slap on his cheek. He stumbled back, from shock, until he was on his butt on the floor. He looked up to see Yui, glaring down at him. Tears fell from her eyes as she stared. She then turned around and walked away without a word.
Tetsuo whimpered a bit, his wolf ears and tail subconsciously popping up, before his ears flattened in submission. He looked at the others left; Reiji and Ayato. Subaru, Shu and Laito left long ago.
Ayato waltzed up next, glaring down at the wolf. "You're pathetic. Just like when you came here." The redhead snapped harshly. Though on the inside, he was regretting every word. He wanted to take the wolf back, but he was beyond hurt.
Ayato's face twisted before he kicked the wolf in the side, causing him to slide into the wall opposite them. Tetsuo whined in pain as he was now on his stomach, holding his side.
"You can reside in this mansion, but you will continue to work for us." Reiji began, walking toward the groaning Tetsuo. The vampire leaned down as Tetsuo looked up at him.
Reiji grabbed his arm, hoisting the younger male up with a tight grip. Tetsuo looked at him, whimpering at the grip on his arm. "You will do whatever we ask of you, and we will expect it to be done correctly. If something isn't done to our liking, we can punish you however we want."
The vampire glared, "Do you still wish to come back?" He hissed. He was only half surprised by the hesitant nod he received.
"Alright then." He dropped the wolf, watching as he fell to his knees, holding his arm. Reiji then turned his back to him and started to walk off in the direction Ayato had already gone.
"Follow me." Tetsuo hesitantly grabbed his small bag and scrambled after the tall vampire. He kept his mouth shut as he followed him to what he recognized as his old room. Though there were a couple locks on the door.
Reiji fumbled in his pocket for a bit before pulling out a small ring of keys and unlocking the locks. Reiji opened the door then ushered the wolf inside the room.
"Why'd you lock it..?" Tetsuo whispered as Reiji stayed outside of the room. Though he then realized that some sort of magic had to have been used inside the room.
The vampire gave no reply as he then shut the door.
